Old Metal Fishing Lure Tackle Box, Vintage 2 Tray Cantilever Tool Chest
This is an antique metal tackle box in good used condition. The measurements are approximately 19" long by 6-7/8" wide by 7-1/4" high. Inside it has two metal cantilever trays and a large storage area on the bottom. It has a few small dents. Scratches and blemishes but overall is in pretty decent shape for a tackle box of this age. All of the latches and trays work properly. It has gray crinkle/ crackle paint. I think it may be a Heddon box but I can't find the makers name anywhere on the box. The last picture shown is what's left of the makers name but I can't make out what it says. If you're familiar with old tackle boxes, maybe you know what it says. It looks like a triangular design with the the point of the triangle facing down and red letters on it.

Vintage heavy duty metal two tray fishing tackle tool box round corners VERYGOOD
VINTAGE 2-TRAY FISHING TACKLE BOX.very good condition This vintage heavy duty 2-tray pressed steel tackle box is in very good condition. The inside and outside have been lightly surface cleaned. It opens and closes as it should. One small dent on lid top edge left of handle. The textured painted finish shows marks from use and there is some surface rust on the outside. But the rust is less on the inside. It is still a very solid box overall, as no areas are even close to rusting through. The metal handle works and is not cracked. Box m easures about 16" long x 7" deep x 6 3/8" tall plus the handle. No key. But latch closes. Good luck bidding!

I bought this box new back in 1984 and used it until I retired in 2011. A can of graphite lock fluid spilled in the bottom and some ran down the back of the box. It probably could be cleaned out since it is only on the surface and not down in the plastic. It has 26 compartments and the bottom. The top handles will not open when it is being carried and spill everything out like some boxes. A pad lock through the handles would secure the contents from children or anyone else that might want to take something from it.

Vintage Stamped Metal Fishing Tackle or Tool box
Here's a great little vintage stamped metal fishing tackle box. It has a locking latch mechanism. But I don't have the key. It is unlocked and the latch mechanism works ok. Box is in good shape-but I believe it was originally a green color unless the primer was green-tinted. The black paint is in poor condition, but overall this little box is in great condition. The interior partitions on the cantilever sections are removable, and only one or two are missing. Please see pictures for best description. This would be a great gift to a fisherman in your life, or that young guy who could appreciate something like this. Or-as I said in my title-this would be a nice little toolbox for specialty items. Vintage Montgomery Wards Hawthorne Fishing Tackle-Tool Box
Up for auction is a wonderful Vintage Tackle Box by Montgomery Wards Hawthorne. Opens and closes freely(no key) Has a unique locking system so you can't dump it and is spill proof. Box shows wear from heavy use. But gives it a great character and tells a great story. There is paint wear on bottom, sides and top showing metal were it has aged to a wonderful copper color(some call it rust color) There is also a indentation on the top next to the handle. But again, giving a great look of history to it. Photo of my finger pointing to are of indentation Trays are dirty, but function. Box measures 14" length by 6.5" width by 6.5" depth.
