This is a Vintage Old Pal One Tray Solid Steel Blue Color Tackle Box in nice condition. I had one just like it when I was a kid and I'm retired now. So probably at least 50 years old. Opens from the front with eight stationary compartments, with plenty of room in the bottom. The tray is nearly perfect in condition. Closes tight and secure with the original steel latch. The handle is high impact plastic with the very sought after lure inlay. It does have some minor spots and scuffs. But no dents and the inside looks great. Very solidly constructed. Dimensions of box are 6 1/2 in. X 4 1/2 in. X 14 in. You won't find this tackle box in any store. I cannot stress how solid this box is. Take a look at the pictures and decide. ITEM DESCRIPTION: Nice Vintage UMCO 205U Tackle Box PLUS UMCO P-9 Pocket Fishing Tackle Box This auction includes two(2) vintage tackle boxes from UMCO Coporation. Watertown, Minnesota. First is the model 205U. Which is well constructed with heavy guage plastic, and all of the metal parts are aluminum. Never have to worry about a rust problem. As you can see in the pictures, inside are 3 tiered trays with individual spaces for fitting all sorts of lures and other tackle. All of the trays are in very good shape- no worm burns, cracks or holes. The dimensions are approximately 12-1/2" wide x 6" height x 5-1/2" deep. The lower tray has a slight bend on left side, but does not have any effect on opening or closing operation of tray mechanism(See Picture) Latch and handle are still in tact and work well too! In very good condition! ... moreSecond is the smallest UMCO tackle box. Model P-9, which is made of aluminum with textured surface. This is a two-sided box, and is missing the plastic tray/divider, and has seen considerable use. Wow. Really nice 4 tray model 416, in fantastic shape. Rubber mat has been glued down to the bottom of tray, so there is glue residue on the bottom, doesn't stand out muich unless you put a flash on it. It does have some normal wear on it, scuffs, scratches, some faded spots and the drawers have some staining inside, but all in all it is in nice shape!
