Vintage UMCO 1000RS 7 Tray 71 Comprtmnt Green Fishing Tackle Box Needs Restore
Vintage UMCO 1000RS green tackle box. The exterior shell is in very good condition and the latches are solid. The interior has 7 trays with 70 compartments plus a full basement for reels and things. Some of the black liners compartments have suffered worm burns and are dirty in need of a good cleaning. The 48 small compartments are dirty but in good shape. The burns are in the larger compartments where plastic worms were kept. This would be a nice tackle box to restore or line the compartments with green felt to display some of your vintage wood lures. Don't know the brand of this one. I bought it sometime in the late 80's. This has been used a lot! At least 200 days on the water. But I take good care of my stuff and while this shows plenty of wear it is NOT beat up. Has not been used in the last 12 years or so. Starting at a nice low bid! Pretty nice shape overall. Has plenty of"mojo" in the form oxidation. A few dings and wear to the bottom from sliding around on the deck for the last 25 years, but solid as a rock structurally. Up for auction is a very nice heavy duty 7 tier loaded vintage tackle box. There are over 50 hard lures. All these lures are ready to fish. Most of them have new hooks. A very few have mild surface rust. So I left them as is. The vintage lures have original hooks. I do not install new hooks on these since collectors want them to be original. I see Heddon, Rapala, Bomber, Whopper Stopper, Rebel, Arbogast, Norman, Storm, and others. The bottom of the box is loaded with misc. tackle, some new. Also there's 3 vintage Zebco reels, one 202 and 2 33's. All have metal feet. They work but need cleaning and oil. They are very simple to work on. Please see the pics. Plano Tackle Box 7777 Model Vintage 7 Tray
Hi and thanks for stopping by. Up for auction one vintage Plano 7777 tackle box. This item is used and does show some signs of use and wear. One of the trees in the middle is slightly lighter in color than all of the other trays if you look closely at the picture where all of the trays are removed. The inside top of the box appears to have a few rubber worm burns. Some of the trays are dirtier than others. All normal wear and tear for a box of this age. The last thing of note is that the top tray is a little more difficult to open than all of the others and sometimes sticks a little bit.
