This tackle box is in overall nice used condition with some normal use paint wear. There is some rust on the two chrome pieces that hold the handle on and a couple of other small minor spots. Tackle/Tool Box Orange Revelation Western Auto DESCRIPTION This is a used vintage Revelation Tackle/ Tool Box from Western Auto Stores. This came from a Western Auto Store going out of business sale in the 1970's. The box is an orange color with some scratches and scrapes from use and shelf wear. There are dings and small dents on the top of the box(please see photos) Tray inside is intact with no cracks or chips. There is some discoloration of the plastic, and the mounting brackets are tight and move smoothly. The latch for the box is slightly off but appears to have been made that way, it does latch tightly and releases easily. Handle on top of box is a heavy white plastic and is secure and strong. Up for auction is a nice vintage used tackle or tool box. This is a small tackle box. It is around 13" in size. It has a nice blue speckled type color. There are 2 trays inside that lift up and out of the box as the lid is opened. There is a front metal latch that simply lifts up. You will need to add your own lock to keep it closed. This has a sticker on it that appears to say My Buddy and No 13. It is rather hard to read and I am selling it as you see in the pictures. This is in good vintage used condition. It does need a light cleaning as it was stored for years on a shelf. It is from an estate auction. I was told this is from the 1950's time. I am not sure. Selling it as you see in the pictures. This is a Vintage Kennedy Kits Cantilever Tackle box in good condition. The leather handle is full and strong. All trays are properly connected and smooth working, the box has all original latches in place with the center latch working but sticking a little may need a little oil or some kind of minor adjustment. The finish appears original with a little light surface rust in the bottom of the box and on the actual bottom none appears serious and some cleaning should do it. VINTAGE FISHING TACKLE BOX WITH AN UNUSUAL HANDLE This tool box is"Army Green" with a brown h andle with a pattern pressed into it. The handle holders look like brass. I am not an expert so not sure. The lock closes very nicely. It sometimes sticks a little. But then I have lady hands. You are probably tougher than I am. There is a twelve inch measure along the front top of the box so you are sure you are over that seven inch limit. Or whatever it is. The hinges are good and move smoothly. Corners are good. Not all bent up. It looks like this might at one time have had a tray. As there are two places on the inside of the lid where a tray might have hung. On a n indention above the lock there are numbers. They are 8033. I didn't see these when I was taking the photos. This was an estate sale find. So I don't know how old ... morethis item is.
