As you can see it has had some good use! Up for auction is this vintage(antique? My Buddy TACKLEMASTER Steel Tackle Storage Box. It has a really pretty blue finish(yes I'm a girl) and the original My Buddy TACKLEMASTER with a picture of a fish. Still on the lid-in AMAZING CONDITION(the sticker) The handle is in EXCELLENT condition, looks like BAKELITE to me but I am not positive? Handle is attached with brass facets& they are solid and secure. It has some slight rust patches on the outside, and inside, see the pictures.The bottom also has rust along the perimeter of the raised base, no rust(holes) goes through the steel. The bottom also has rubber disks to raise it up, one is completely worn off, two others are somewhat worn. 3 others are somewhat worn but intact. these could easily be replaced I think as they appear to be just simple ... morerubber disks.When the lid is open, two compartmented shelves on each side also open simultaneously and there is more storage in the bottom.The shelf hinges are in very good working condition, secure. THERE IS A WORKING LOCK AND A KEY! The previous owners name is taped on the inside lid but can be removed, as it is that type on kind of tape. All the hinges, lid, closures, etc are in very good working condition, solid& stable. I don't see any dents at all. There are some scratches, it could be cleaned up some, maybe some cork down on bottom& on the shelves would be nice? This is a estate find that I know little about other than what I can see and what I see is a usable vintage tackle box measuring approximately 16 inches long by approximately 9 inches wide by approximately 9 inches tall when folded up and latched. The tackle box has 4 or 5 or more dings/dents along with areas of rust. Scratches, scuffs, wear and fading. Hinges on one side is a little stiff as I have to pull on the lid to get the trays to fold out. Even with the noted defects this tackle box along with some WD40 to help loosen the hinges up along with use will make this tackle box overall a good used condition ... moretackle box. Weight before packing out is a hair under 8 pounds 5 oz. I want this to be a happy transaction for everyone so please ask any and all question before bidding. Vintage My Buddy Tacklemaster tackle box. Aluminum construction with brass hinges and lock. The lock works with the original key. Approximately 16" x 9" Condition is fair due to a rumpled lid. It is mostly cosmetic. The lid and the cantilever hinges are not impaired. The trays are straight and all fold up smoothly. The handle is secure. The brass hinges are average and secured at all points. I will send an invoice to the winning bidder with shipping options for your region.
