Two Vintage Metal Hamilton HP Climax & Unbranded Small Fishing Tackle Tool Boxes
Two. Vintage, used, metal, Hamilton HP Co. Climax, unbranded, small, fishing lure, tool boxes, containers. These items show overall wear including scratches. Surface rust, discoloration, missing paint, the large unbranded green box has a latch that is slightly loose, there are several bends and dents found in the metal of that box, and the back hinge on the lid is disconnected, the rivets pull out, and the lid does not open correctly on that box. The Climax box latch works well. The large unbranded box measures approximately 7” x 13” x 6” at its largest dimensions, and the Climax measures 5.25” x 11” x 3.75” at its largest dimensions. an estate find that was used as a sewing box so it survived the war time metal drive.they got the key though.This everymans tackle box of the era is well built and I usually find them rusty and dirty from fishing.This one is real nice on the inside too. There are two patent#s on it.first one is 1896476 and the other is 1912915.This will date from the 30's i believe. any way nice period painted metal box.
