This auction is for a used Vintage UMCO 3000 UPB POSSUM BELLY TACKLE BOX. This is a HUGH Tackle Box. Approximately 18 inches tall x 12 inches wide x 20 inches long. There are 8 trays with a total of 64 compartments that vary in size and shape. 4 of the 64 compartments have worm burn spot but still function fine. On the top by the handle is says UMCO 3000 UPB Watertown, MN. USA. There are no cracks or holes in the plastic, the hinges and handle works fine, There is a 1/4" bumper between the two bellies. The bumper has a thick foam behind brass cover. The bumper is wavy, could be improved with some adhesive if you want but still functions fine. The Green color has held up very well, does not look like its seen much sun. It was purchased at an estate in Northern Minnesota and was used on those area lakes and mostly Lake Superior. A collectible piece for display or use. Color is black. Measures roughly 13 1/2" x 6 1/2" x 7 1/4" The outer condition of the box is very nice. The handle is secure and it latches closed properly. According to another listing. The metal piece on top is a hook sharpener, but do not quote me on that. There are three trays on the inside. They show wear/use as you can see from the photos but they also open and close easily. This large box is the UMCO model 1000A and measures 18" 46cm) X 9" 23cm) X 9.5" 24cm) tall. The aluminum has a textured finish plus anodized gold-tone trim including the hinges. The two end latches and a strip that runs down the center of the lid. It has a black plastic handle. This box opens up with four(4) tiers of trays on one side and three(3) tiers on the other giving you a total of 55 divided compartments for stowing gear. The trays are lined with black plastic. This was sold as a fishing tackle box but I can not say that was it's intended purpose. Has compartments that could be used for tackle. Or anything else you wanted to use them for. The box is old. Has a pat date 9-15-16. Box has dents and wear, but still a useable tool box. Sorry no key for the lock. Measures a bout 14-1/4" long, 7-3/4" wide, and 10" high. Has two lift out trays.
