This tackle box is in great condition. Not sure of the age. No rust. Inside tray is missing. Key is taped to the bottom of the box. Handle is imprinted with the words. Huge Vintage Antique Metal Tackle Box- Extra Large Army Green in Good Cond.
You are bidding on a HUGE Vintage Antique Metal Tackle Box. This army green thing is huge as you can get a little perspective from the picture I took with a modern standard size tackle box. Measurements are 21" long. 8.5" wide, and about 9.5" high. All of the snaps work just fine, although sometimes you have to hold your mouth right to get all three holes lined up. Seriously though, after opening and shutting it a couple of times you kind of get the hang of it. This tackle box, while vintage, is not perfect, it is missing some paint here and there, it has a two- tone paint job on one end, and a small dent(pictured) on one corner. As you can see, the little compartments inside are lined with cork, and the entire inside is quite spacious. This is certainly a rare find. Great for the collector. The lock closes very nicely. It sometimes sticks a little. But then I have lady hands. You are probably tougher than I am. There is a twelve inch measure along the front top of the box so you are sure you are over that seven inch limit. Or whatever it is. The hinges are good and move smoothly. Corners are good. Not all bent up. It looks like this might at one time have had a tray. As there are two places on the inside of the lid where a tray might have hung. On a n indention above the lock there are numbers. They are 8033. I didn't see these when I was taking the photos. This was an estate sale find. So I don't know how old ... morethis item is. Vintage 1970s Victor Tackle Box - One Tray - Green Metal, Rust, Stickers, Tape
This Vintage Tackle Box is everything I love about vintage. It has been places and seen things. It proudly wears it's history in its rusty exterior. Its flag and feet stickers and its green electrical tape. While it's in very good condition(please see description) it doesn't have to be perfect. This box could absolutely still be used as a tackle box. But would be great on a desk, on a shelf as a decor piece, or used to store other things like art or craft supplies. This old guy has a lot of life left and is up for anything. The fact that the handle and latch are still very secure, means he can go anywhere. Approximately 13 1/2" x 6 1/2" x 4" The interior tray is about 12 3/4" x 4 3/4" x 1" The dividers are about 1 1/2" inches apart.

DESCRIPTION: You are bidding on a vintage Grip Loc Walton Products green tackle box AND KEY with 4 trays with lures and tackle as shown in the pictures. Fillet knife. Steel leaders, bobbers, hooks, sinkers, line, fish skinner, plastics, crank baits, scale, etc. The tackle box does show some rust but the handle, latches and trays all function properly. The trays still have the original cork in used condition. Please look at the pictures.
