Vintage UMCO Model 800 US Teal& GOLD Aluminum LARGE Handled FISHING Tackle BOX This is a large Umco model 800US teal with gold trim textured aluminum fishing tackle box. There are two side clip closures on each side. Top handle attached. Opens up to double sided three tier levels and a large compartment underneath. Each tier has dividers. There are some wear on some of the black liners where you can see thru to the metal. There are also some oil residues from numerous use. The exterior is in great condition. This is a great vintage Umco model 204-A Al uminum tackle box with three expanding internal trays. It is built like a tank. Yet light weight. This why these have always been prized for tackle and tools alike! This box measures:18"long, 10" deep, and 8" tall. It has a couple scratches and a few small dings. But no major dents or damage. There is some very light denting on the top in two spots. The box is overall clean and in good condition.I only see one worm burn, but this is normal. This is a vintage P-9 fishing tackle box from UMCO Corporation that belonged to my grandfather who used it most likely in the 60's an 70's. It's made of aluminum and opens from the top and bottom as shown in the 2nd photo. Both latches work fine. You might want to use a cleaner that works on aluminum. But it's in good shape for its age.
