Antique Vintage Medium Sized Wooden Block & Tackle Pulley-Great Patina!
Up for auction is a great antique block and tackle. This wooden pulley has nice vintage charm. As you can see the wood has obvious signs of wear and age. This piece measures 15 1/2" in overall length. The wooden block measures 5" long and 4" wide and 4 1/2" thick. T he hook itself measures approx. 4" wide and 6 1/2" long. This is quite heavy. Weighing 8 lbs. As you can see in Photo 7. This piece is marked or stamped with what appears to read'U.H. CO' Notice the excellent patina on this pulley. Wonderful Vintage Wooden Fishing Tackle Box (Florida Tackle Box)
I have for auction a beautiful vintage wooden tackle box from Florida. It is a true working tackle box and you can tell from the inside that it has carried some tackle. This type of box is often called a Florida tackle box and is made of yellow pine or some other probably native F lorida wood. The wood has a warm golden hew to it and some wonderful patina/discoloration due to age. It is equipped with what appears to be brass hinges. Handle and hasp. These too show some nice soft patina. Has two trays that can be removed from the inside revealing larger storage compartments for reels or other items. Also what I think is really cool is the section of an advertising yard stick screwed into the top inside of the lid that the fisherman would use to check the length of the fish. This is an old piece for the phone numbers for the three locations ... moreare prior to our current 7 digit numbers. For example it lists Miami Shores as 89-2541. This is a vintage 1930's Converted Cloth Covered Train Case Tackle Box filled with antique lures and tackle. Couldn't find a name. But the fact that it is made of wood, cloth covered, with the style of hardware it has tells the era. It has old English initials on the front, high impact handle with brass posts, and very old style corner protectors. Someone really did a nice job of converting it into a tackle box, very nice wood construction. Very solidly constructed. Both latches work perfectly but no key. Half Day Boat Wooden Tackle Box (Salt Water) 80's 11.75"w x 7.5h x 7.75d
Don't know the brand of this one. I bought it sometime in the late 80's. This has been used a lot! At least 200 days on the water. But I take good care of my stuff and while this shows plenty of wear it is NOT beat up. Has not been used in the last 12 years or so. Starting at a nice low bid! Pretty nice shape overall. Has plenty of"mojo" in the form oxidation. A few dings and wear to the bottom from sliding around on the deck for the last 25 years, but solid as a rock structurally. Antique wooden tackle box ca. 1920
Up for auction is an antique tackle box. This is not just a box called a tackle box it was made for it. The structure of the box is in great shape but it could use a good cleaning to bring out the finish. The snap in the two clips is weak but they are there. They could be taken off and the bar may be bent some more to give it a nice snap. The box is 18 inches long. 7 1/2 wide and 7 1/2 high. It has a leather handle thats still pretty strong. The inside has a sliding tray. The box stays open when raised by an aluminum slide bar. There are hook holders underneath. This comes with some contents as found and lots of lead sinkers.

Antique Wooden Tackle Box Ambercrombie and Fitch ~ Spinner Bait Storage Chest
This is a very rare and unique looking tackle box from Abercrombie and Fitch. It measures 17 5/8" Long X 11 1/8" Wide X 11 5/8" Tall. It has two deep wells and a segmented section in the middle which look ideal for spinner baits to me. The well on the left is 7 3/4" Deep and the well on the right is 10" deep. The removable 8 section tray stores nicely on top of either well. There is some rub wear to the four bottom corners as shown and there is also a couple of spots where someone let some paint overspray get on it. The brass hinges. Lock clasp and nameplate all have an antique tarnished look which I have not disturbed. It has three brass hinges on the back and two snap and clamp style hinges on the front. Vintage Handmade Wooden Gentleman's Tackle Box
This nice vintage handmade wooden tackle box is what was called a Gentleman's tackle box. It belonged to my grandpa. Father, and now me! It has inside tray holders and two removable trays with lures, flies, spoons, bobbers, and other miscellaneous items. Also inside box is a reel, some line, lures, etc. I added a few packaged flies from other boxes and some tackle. Original key to box was lost, so I made two keys made for the box, so it now locks.
