This is a beautiful Northern Pike taxidermy mount. The fish measures 24" in length and is 3 1/2" from belly to back. I have had this fish in my game room for many years and it is in great condition for its age. Vintage 1970 Real Skin LAKE TROUT Wall Mount 41" long Taxidermy/Museum Quality
Vintage 1970 Lake Trout Mount by Taxidermist Ken Hawkins You are bidding a 1970 Lake Trout Mount. This mount is in great condition for it's age. And has museum quality. This is a type of mount that you might find in a Bass Pro Shop or Sporting Goods store. The mount measures 41 inches long and 16 inches in height. You won't find many fish over 40 years old in this good of condition. Please look below for a detailed description of the mount. The mount has a taxidermy label on the back. Ken Hawkins taxidermy mounted the Lake Trout in 1970. Hawkins was a well known taxidermist that did work for 60 plus years. Hawkins and his dad, Jack, did several mounts for the Manitoba Museum, their first mount was done in 1943. The date on the label was hand written: 7-10-70, and the mount originally was for"Grandpa Hefner. This is truly a piece ... moreof history and would look great on anybody's wall! The label also has the address of their Taxidermy Shop, 1793 Main Street Winnipeg 17. Manitoba. This was"Canada's Largest Taxidermist Shop" and became known as"The Shop with the Bear on Top" This is an Awesome piece of Vintage/Antique fishing decor! The condition of the fish: The top of the tail fin has a little bend to it. The top of back two fins are in great condition. The two wall side fins look like they were broken away from the skin but have been glued back into place. All the fins show some wear but nothing really noticeable. The REAL skin of the fish is in really nice condition. The back side of the mount has a small crack. Please look at all the pictures before bidding. Northern Pike Skin Mount Fish Taxidermy Replica 30"
Here is a nice skin mount replica of a Northern Pike. This mount is about 5 years old and in very nice condition. The fish was/is about 30" long. BUT, with the bend in the fish mount, its about 28" long. The fins were finished with bends/curves in them for a more realistic appearance. Note) As seen in the photo; the lower tail tip is discolored/clear. It may have been repaired at one time? I think some paint or touch up would be an easy fix. There is a nice wire hangar on the back. So its ready to mount. Its a little dusty and due for a light cleaning. This is a nice mount overall, and would look great on the wall. Have a look at the pics, they show its condition and coloration/markings pretty good.

Here is an 8' long X 3 1/2' tall Sailfish half mount.I do not know much about these.I purchased this one from a lady about 15 years ago who said her husband caught the fish in Mexico in the 1980's.I liked it bought it and hung it on the wall.We redecorated and it is time to sell.I think it is made out of plaster the sail looks to be masonite and fins are plastic.It looks good from a distance but up close you can see cracking and paint chipping.This fish is far from mint so dont expect a show piece.It would look fine hung on a wall where it can be viewed from a distance or in a garage/work shop.Local pick up only. Real Sailfish Wall mount Taxidermy
This is a real wall mount sailfish caught by my wife on june 1977. It weighed 43 pounds and is 86 inches long. Sorry about pictures because it is not hung up right at this moment. Only 2 flaws 1 is tail bottom piece a little worn and 2nd is the very small bottom little finger fin is bent alittle other than that beautiful fish.

Beautiful Northern Pike that was caught and mounted in about 1983. The fellow that mounted this was 84 years old and did a beautiful job on this 34 inch pike. He is down-sizing and needed to part with it. This was the center piece in his Man Cave. I have not touched it. So you will get it with the dust on it. He used a beautiful mounting board behind it and the width of this pike is about 5 inches. The owner caught this out of Lake Okoboji in Iowa. I do not see any damage to any of the fins and the color is amazing. I will have this professionally packed and shipped for $40.00.

Bluegill is 11" long so is a nice large specimen. Mounted by George McGinnity- a local master taxidermist who has won awards for his mounts up and down the east coast. You won't find anyone to do a nicer job. George has been semi-retired quite a few years now-he use to get all of my whitetail and fish mounts when he was active. I picked this one out of an estate so I don't know how long ago he did it but as I said-he is a master. He doesn't do it the easy way-notice the open gill plate showing the gills. The driftwood it is mounted on is 14 1/2" long. There is some slight damage to the back side of the mouth-probably from a hook. Caught my 40" so these 2 can go to make room. 2 year old mount. Fish caught a day apart and mounted professionally on a piece of old barn board with a metal stringer atached. Beautiful color in both of these fish. Fish length is 32 and 36, actual lenghts now are smaller due to arch in the mount. One weighed 11lbs, the other weighed just under 16. Here's what I know about this guy. The plaque reads: June 1975 Lac La Ronge Canada. Sask. Good Time Fishing Ok. Fishermen! What is it? Salmon, Trout, Pike? I'm having trouble identifying this but have been told it may be salmon. Real skin mount. From end of tail to tip of mouth, it's approximately 33" long. Measuring HALF of the body, he has a girth of 16" plump little guy! This comes with the lure you see hanging from his mouth BUT it is easily removable in case you wanted to place your own lure there. I'm sue a taxidermist could remove this from the large mounting board and re-mount this to a more modern look, if you like. There is thin cracking on the bottom(see photo) doesn't seem to be a major issue. Mounted on a wood(pine? board that measures 36" across. Hanging hardware attached. This is a mounted Walleye Caught in 1980 and was a record fish caught from Lake Erie on 7/20/1980. This monster measured 30 inches long and was 11 1/2 lbs. The back tail fin and the side and dorsal fins need attention. I have side fin complete for repair(look at pics) but other than that in great condition considering the age. I have the trophy and newspaper article somewhere so i will do my best to locate. This was caught on an Erie Dearie(red and white) when Lake Erie Walleye fishing was at its best. Tag is loose but reads NORTHERN PIKE 41" 20 LBS CAUGHT BY EARL SPRINKLE 9-14-80 QUE. CAN. Board it is on is 44" x 11 1/4" It is a real skin mount from the actual fish-not a fiberglass reproduction. Slight seperation of the skin at the tail with a very small piece missing. Very nicely done mount. It still looks nice after almost 33 years so you know it was done right. Vintage Trout / salmon ? Fish Taxidermy Wall Mount On Drift Wood Cabin Lodge Bar
I really tried to provide plenty of pictures to answer any questions you might have I really don't know much about this item for sure.However I assumed by the stitching in the back that it was real skin. It is a little bit beat up as you can see by the tears in the dorsal fin and some of the stuffing showing on spots on the body I don't know if these things can be restored easily or its okay the way it is. but would be great for your cabin, and I'm not asking you huge price so you can decorate your cabin without breaking the bank. Also there is already a hanging hook on the driftwood that it is mounted to. Thanks for looking and good luck

Vintage Largemouth bass mount taxidermy real skin 22.5" long on wood plaque
Vintage large mouth bass taxidermy mount. It is about 22.5" in length. I think it was made in the 1970s or earlier. I bought it at an estate sale. I am farily certain it is real skin. It measures about 12" from the dorsal fin to the bottom of its body. It was a large fish. The mouth is about 4.5" open height. I tried to clean it with some compressed air and some used dryer sheets to get the significant amount of dust off. I was not overly successful. It has flared gills. The biggest flaws are the fins that are bent in some spots and possibly have pieces missing. The worst are the right pectoral fin and the bottom tail fin. There is only an eye on one side. I am sure it was supposed to be like that. The back has some filler where it was put together. Again I think it was made that way because that side wasn't supposed to ... morebe seen. I will try to pack as carefully as possible to keep from damaging the fins any further. The wood that it was mounted on is not of high quality and there are only a few screws holding it on.
