Vintage 1949 Walleye Fish Trophy Mount Ford Camp Whitefish Bay Ontario
For your consideration is this wonderful old First Place trophy mount Walleye from 1949 caught at Ford Camp. Whitefish Bay, Ontario Canada. This is a great old mount in super condition on a really unusual back plate. The back plate measures 36" long by 13" tall and as pictured, they are slats of wood that say"First Place 7LB. 6 OZ. on the left side of the fish. Under the center of the fish it is signed"Ford Camp Whitefish Bay, Ontario" and on the right signed"Walleye 1949" It is beautifully done and the writing shows well, as they used two darker slats of wood for part of the writing. The trophy Walleye measures 26 1/2" by 9 3/4" must have been a very proud moment for the winner of this prize. The only damage is the top fin in photo#9, seems to be in two layers and part of the top layer is flaking ... moreoff a bit and the in the last photo the fin on his belly is loose on the top, still holding on the back. This is a rare find and would make a wonderful gift for yourself or the hunting/fishing collector in your life. It belonged to an old collector of only the best hunting/ fishing trophies etc. and he would surely love to see it go to another good home. Vintage 1970 Real Skin LAKE TROUT Wall Mount 41" long Taxidermy/Museum Quality
Vintage 1970 Lake Trout Mount by Taxidermist Ken Hawkins You are bidding a 1970 Lake Trout Mount. This mount is in great condition for it's age. And has museum quality. This is a type of mount that you might find in a Bass Pro Shop or Sporting Goods store. The mount measures 41 inches long and 16 inches in height. You won't find many fish over 40 years old in this good of condition. Please look below for a detailed description of the mount. The mount has a taxidermy label on the back. Ken Hawkins taxidermy mounted the Lake Trout in 1970. Hawkins was a well known taxidermist that did work for 60 plus years. Hawkins and his dad, Jack, did several mounts for the Manitoba Museum, their first mount was done in 1943. The date on the label was hand written: 7-10-70, and the mount originally was for"Grandpa Hefner. This is truly a piece ... moreof history and would look great on anybody's wall! The label also has the address of their Taxidermy Shop, 1793 Main Street Winnipeg 17. Manitoba. This was"Canada's Largest Taxidermist Shop" and became known as"The Shop with the Bear on Top" This is an Awesome piece of Vintage/Antique fishing decor! The condition of the fish: The top of the tail fin has a little bend to it. The top of back two fins are in great condition. The two wall side fins look like they were broken away from the skin but have been glued back into place. All the fins show some wear but nothing really noticeable. The REAL skin of the fish is in really nice condition. The back side of the mount has a small crack. Please look at all the pictures before bidding. Here is an 8' long X 3 1/2' tall Sailfish half mount.I do not know much about these.I purchased this one from a lady about 15 years ago who said her husband caught the fish in Mexico in the 1980's.I liked it bought it and hung it on the wall.We redecorated and it is time to sell.I think it is made out of plaster the sail looks to be masonite and fins are plastic.It looks good from a distance but up close you can see cracking and paint chipping.This fish is far from mint so dont expect a show piece.It would look fine hung on a wall where it can be viewed from a distance or in a garage/work shop.Local pick up only. Iowa Northern pike, taxidermy, Man Cave, vintage wall-hanger, skin mount, cabin
Beautiful Northern Pike that was caught and mounted in about 1983. The fellow that mounted this was 84 years old and did a beautiful job on this 34 inch pike. He is down-sizing and needed to part with it. This was the center piece in his Man Cave. I have not touched it. So you will get it with the dust on it. He used a beautiful mounting board behind it and the width of this pike is about 5 inches. The owner caught this out of Lake Okoboji in Iowa. I do not see any damage to any of the fins and the color is amazing. I will have this professionally packed and shipped for $40.00.

22" Vintage Fish Mount Rainbow Trout ?
This looks like what appears to be an old mounted fish. It is about 22" long and looks alot like a rainbow trout. Possibly hand painted. Does have a few cracks in the finish but doesn't take away from the awesomeness it displays. Loaded with patina and character. Needs to be lightly cleaned up which I will let the new owner do this. Vintage Trout / salmon ? Fish Taxidermy Wall Mount On Drift Wood Cabin Lodge Bar
I really tried to provide plenty of pictures to answer any questions you might have I really don't know much about this item for sure.However I assumed by the stitching in the back that it was real skin. It is a little bit beat up as you can see by the tears in the dorsal fin and some of the stuffing showing on spots on the body I don't know if these things can be restored easily or its okay the way it is. but would be great for your cabin, and I'm not asking you huge price so you can decorate your cabin without breaking the bank. Vintage Largemouth bass mount taxidermy real skin 22.5" long on wood plaque
Vintage large mouth bass taxidermy mount. It is about 22.5" in length. I think it was made in the 1970s or earlier. I bought it at an estate sale. I am farily certain it is real skin. It measures about 12" from the dorsal fin to the bottom of its body. It was a large fish. The mouth is about 4.5" open height. I tried to clean it with some compressed air and some used dryer sheets to get the significant amount of dust off. I was not overly successful. It has flared gills. The biggest flaws are the fins that are bent in some spots and possibly have pieces missing. The worst are the right pectoral fin and the bottom tail fin. There is only an eye on one side. I am sure it was supposed to be like that. The back has some filler where it was put together. Again I think it was made that way because that side wasn't supposed to ... morebe seen. I will try to pack as carefully as possible to keep from damaging the fins any further. The wood that it was mounted on is not of high quality and there are only a few screws holding it on. 22" Vintage Fish Mount Rainbow Trout Great for Cabin or Mancave
This is an earlier Mount. From 1981. He is still beautiful to view from the front and mounted on a nice wood plaque. There wasn't much effort put into the back of this mount, maybe that's common, I don't know. There's no eye in the back, and the finish is a little rough. MONSTER Walleye Skin Mount Vintage Taxidermy Fish 30+ ClubTrophy Fishing Lure NR
Here is one huge walleye mount. The tag says it was 31 and 1/2 inches. I laid a tape in the V of the tail and measured 30 inches to the bottom lip. So this was well over that live. This was very well done and still looks great after 25 years. The tag did not say where this came from. I am pretty sure it was from Lake Erie. There are a lot of walleye fishermen that never caught one over 30 inches in a lifetime. Here is an extra large being sold without reserve. Email any questions and thanks for looking.

Hello. This auction contains a set of Vintage mounted Bullhorns. You can tell they are very old by the piece of wood they are mounted to and the paint that is on the back of the piece of wood! The front of the wood and center of mount is covered with real hair that I am assuming is from the same animal? I am not sure as I bought this off a person and did not get any details accept everything is real! I have had them hanging and they look pretty good while up on the wall. The horns are not perfect. Largemouth Bass Vintage Taxidermy Fish Skin Mount Cabin Decor Fishing Trophy
This is a nice looking vintage largemouth bass taxidermy mount. It measures about 20" in length. And the real skin was used in the mount. There is a small crack on the top of the head area(pictured) which appears to have been repaired at some point and is barely noticeable. There is also a mark on the side of the gill area(pictured) I'm not sure if that was on the live fish or not, it's minor but still worth mentioning.
