19 1/2" Mounted Trout. This is the real McCoy. I listed this mount a few weeks ago and stated that it had to be picked up locally. I had a lot of viewers but noone who lived close by. Anyhow. I've relisted it and will ship it and will do everything possible to have it arrive in the great condition that it is in. As it stands now this trout has no problems with it. I was afraid to ship it but I see others have so I will pack it the best I can with a lot of cushoning. The fish was caught by yours truly in April of 1996 in Pa. The brass plate gives the following details: Caught by. CHARLES KELLY. April 13. 1996. 19 1/2 Rainbow. Beavercreek. The name plate could easily be removed if you desire. Again. Gorgeous 21# Steelhead Trout Mounted on Large Driftwod
For your consideration is a beautifully mounted almost 3 foot long Steelhead/ Rainbow Trout. They have a silvery sheen to them. And unlike a regular rainbow trout, they swim out to sea, and return to freshwater to spawn. It is mounted on a large. And artistic piece of driftwood. The fish is 34" long, weighed 21# when caught, and measures 7 1/4" vertically on the largest section of the body. It has a lure dangling from it's mouth. Giving it more presence. It has metal hooks on the back of the wood/ ready to hang. It is in very good condition. The only small flaw I could find was a small bend in one of the fins. And a small tail nick. These flaws will be fixed by the gallery. This will be shipped out via the same art gallery to ensure it's safe arrival to you. It requires very delicate packing.
