Up for sale is my Penn 706z. this a great reel and its in very nice shape. this reel works perfectly it has some minor scratches on it from normal use and the spool has some very very light pitting on the inside(as seen in the picture) and a few tiny nics on the outer edge of the spool. Used Vintage Penn Senator 14/0 Fishing Reel 117 L #1
Here we have a used vintage Penn Senator 14/0 fishing reel. This is the older style with the metal spool. The reel is in overall good condition. The beauty rings are slightly rough and one has a small crack in it as seen in picture 6. The handle is in the roughest shape with lots of scratching and chrome loss as seen in picture 5. The spool is in great shape and the crossbars are good overall with some minor chrome loss. It functions great and I cleaned this reel about a year ago and have never used it since. I believe I put one new bearing. A new bridge sleeve and a couple new drag washers in it. It includes the rod clamp and both harness lugs. The handle will be removed for easier shipping and the reel will be packed very securely. No international shipping on this item. Feel free to ask any questions. UP FOR BID IS A VINTAGE PENN SENATOR 1/0 SALTWATER FISHING REEL. THIS CONVENTIONAL REEL FEATURES A 3:1 GEAR RATIO AND WILL HOLD 225 YDS OF 20 LB TEST MONOFILAMENT LINE. This reel has been cleaned and lubed. There is some corrosion and scratching that does not seem to diminish its functioning as a great light saltwater bottom and trolling reel. The click is loud, clutch flips, handle turns, star drag screws up and down, and has a good rod clamp which adds at least $5.00 that many sellers leave off.
