Huge 61" Yellowfin Tuna Fish Taxidermist Taxidermy Mount Trophy Size
No shipping as he is much too large and fragile to ship. This is an estate item and the mold was taken of the actual fish. It measures 61 1/4" long from a straight line taken from the center of the back fins to the tip of the mouth. If you measure at a slight diaganal from the upper rear tail to the tip of the mouth it is 62 1/2" long. The girth around the center of the fish is 40 1/4" and it measures 27" from the tip of the upper fin to the tip of the lower fin. Mounted on the wall he extends 16 1/2" from the wall. Condition is very good with some minor cracks and rubs. Colors are beautiful. We gave him a quick wiping but you can still see some smeary dust on him and the mouth is still loaded with dust as we forgot to wipe it. If you would like to pick up my zipcode is 17363. Vintage Taxidermy Real Skin Striped Bass Fish Mount Huge 37 lbs.... 40" long
You are bidding on a Vintage stuffed Striped bass. The Striper is huge. It measures right at 40" in length and 17" from the top of the fin to the bottom of the dorsal fin.The fish weighed 37 lbs when caught. I'm guessing the piece is 20 years old. Its a nice Large piece that would look great over that fireplace in your cabin or in that man cave. The mount is older and does have a few minor issues. The fins have seen better days but still look good. The body is in overall good condition showing minor cosmetic issues. Nothing major or anything that detracts from hat awesome vintage look. This fish in itself is rare simply because it weighed 37 lbs. I know stripers get huge but I have never caught one this big. To have a few this size stuffed it would cost you at least $300. HUGE 29 inch Professional Taxidermy Walleye Fish Skin Mount on Driftwood
For your consideration is a beautiful professionally taxidermy skin mount walleye mount on a large piece of driftwood.This is a recent estate sale purchase from the home of an avid sportsman so we do not know what waters the fish was caught in. It is a nicely colored specimen with rich gold and greens. It is also a very thick fish as you can see from a photo showing the belly. It was difficult to capture the girth because it is mounted in a curved fashion. We measured it from the front with a soft tape measure running the tape from the bottom jaw running below the pectoral fin and rotating it slightly upwards to the bottom of the tail fin;thus following the curvature. It has mounting hooks on the back of the wood. It looks to be in very good condition as seen from the eyes of a novice to taxidermy fish etc. but it will need to be dusted a ... morebit. Huge Large Mouth Bass Fish Driftwood Skin Mount Taxidermy Lake George NY
For your consideration is this Fantastic Large Mouth Bass Taxidermy Mount. He was caught in Lake George. NY. The fisherman who caught it is moving across country, and his wife said NO to taking his trophy fish with them. He had all of them professionally mounted within the last 5 years, so it's fairly new. This big fish measures 18" and his body is curved. So he probably measured 19-20" before mounting. He has eyes on both sides of the head. He's on a really nice 19" driftwood mount with pieces that extrude out from the main log. There is a metal hanger in place on the back of the wood. I did notice his pectoral fin is bent. And a slight bend in one corner of his tail. This can probably be straightened with something, but I don't know what to use. I just dusted him off a bit and did not use anything to give him ... moreany extra shine. This fish will look great in a den. Camp, office, actually any room of the house.
