Vintage 1949 Walleye Fish Trophy Mount Ford Camp Whitefish Bay Ontario
For your consideration is this wonderful old First Place trophy mount Walleye from 1949 caught at Ford Camp. Whitefish Bay, Ontario Canada. This is a great old mount in super condition on a really unusual back plate. The back plate measures 36" long by 13" tall and as pictured, they are slats of wood that say"First Place 7LB. 6 OZ. on the left side of the fish. Under the center of the fish it is signed"Ford Camp Whitefish Bay, Ontario" and on the right signed"Walleye 1949" It is beautifully done and the writing shows well, as they used two darker slats of wood for part of the writing. The trophy Walleye measures 26 1/2" by 9 3/4" must have been a very proud moment for the winner of this prize. The only damage is the top fin in photo#9, seems to be in two layers and part of the top layer is flaking ... moreoff a bit and the in the last photo the fin on his belly is loose on the top, still holding on the back. This is a rare find and would make a wonderful gift for yourself or the hunting/fishing collector in your life. It belonged to an old collector of only the best hunting/ fishing trophies etc. and he would surely love to see it go to another good home. This is a USED Mount of a Lake Ontario Walleye. It has been mounted to display in a Vertical Stringer Mount position and has been painted on both sides. Left side is Show side) This Walleye had a Live Weight of approximately 6 lBS. And measured 25" inches in length with a 13" inch girth. This is a USED mount with small imperfections such as splits. Cracks, and creases in it's fins as one would expect from a used mount. the right fin(backside) pelvic fin has a crack in it's base which can be easily repaired with glue or epoxy. Posted with

This mount has the standard hanger on the back for a nail or screw and it also has 2 wires which can be bent out and they can go through holes in a piece of driftwood to be secured that way if desired. I purchased several mounts from a man who life had thrown him a curve. He said he had caught them all himself and they were all newer mounts. Huge 61" Yellowfin Tuna Fish Taxidermist Taxidermy Mount Trophy Size
No shipping as he is much too large and fragile to ship. This is an estate item and the mold was taken of the actual fish. It measures 61 1/4" long from a straight line taken from the center of the back fins to the tip of the mouth. If you measure at a slight diaganal from the upper rear tail to the tip of the mouth it is 62 1/2" long. The girth around the center of the fish is 40 1/4" and it measures 27" from the tip of the upper fin to the tip of the lower fin. Mounted on the wall he extends 16 1/2" from the wall. Condition is very good with some minor cracks and rubs. Colors are beautiful. We gave him a quick wiping but you can still see some smeary dust on him and the mouth is still loaded with dust as we forgot to wipe it. If you would like to pick up my zipcode is 17363. This is a nice looking vintage largemouth bass taxidermy mount. It measures about 20" in length. And the real skin was used in the mount. There is a small crack on the top of the head area(pictured) which appears to have been repaired at some point and is barely noticeable. I remember getting him back the following year and calling him Frakenstien because the skin on his back was pocked and not like it was when I caught him. none the less this is the most impressive Brown I ever caught on my years of trips. He has been on my wall for a long time. he is a skin mount an is a bit loose where he is attached to the wooden plank.but still ok to hang. He weighed in at 19 lbs and is 28 inches long and almost 10 inches from dorsal fin to the bottom of his belly. we affectionally called these browns"Footballs" when we landed them. What a memory!

Chain Pickerel Skin Mount - Trophy Size
This is a 26+ inch Chain Pickerel with a heavy body(11 3/4" girth) a trophy class fish. The tail has been slightly creased and there is a"ding" just behind the gill cover(see fourth and second photos) neither of those flaws are noticeable unless you look really closely. Pickerel are hated by a lot of bass guys because of their ability to bite through line(awesome teeth) and swim off with expensive plugs but I love'em- lightning fast and a truly rotten disposition- reminds me of a couple of old girlfriends of mine. This gal would look good in the man-cave or over a bar or fireplace- there is a little hook on the backside to allow for hanging on a nail or screw head.
