Vintage 1949 Walleye Fish Trophy Mount Ford Camp Whitefish Bay Ontario
For your consideration is this wonderful old First Place trophy mount Walleye from 1949 caught at Ford Camp. Whitefish Bay, Ontario Canada. This is a great old mount in super condition on a really unusual back plate. The back plate measures 36" long by 13" tall and as pictured, they are slats of wood that say"First Place 7LB. 6 OZ. on the left side of the fish. Under the center of the fish it is signed"Ford Camp Whitefish Bay, Ontario" and on the right signed"Walleye 1949" It is beautifully done and the writing shows well, as they used two darker slats of wood for part of the writing. The trophy Walleye measures 26 1/2" by 9 3/4" must have been a very proud moment for the winner of this prize. The only damage is the top fin in photo#9, seems to be in two layers and part of the top layer is flaking ... moreoff a bit and the in the last photo the fin on his belly is loose on the top, still holding on the back. This is a rare find and would make a wonderful gift for yourself or the hunting/fishing collector in your life. It belonged to an old collector of only the best hunting/ fishing trophies etc. and he would surely love to see it go to another good home. This looks like what appears to be an old mounted fish. It is about 22" long and looks alot like a rainbow trout. Possibly hand painted. Does have a few cracks in the finish but doesn't take away from the awesomeness it displays. Loaded with patina and character. Needs to be lightly cleaned up which I will let the new owner do this. I really tried to provide plenty of pictures to answer any questions you might have I really don't know much about this item for sure.However I assumed by the stitching in the back that it was real skin. It is a little bit beat up as you can see by the tears in the dorsal fin and some of the stuffing showing on spots on the body I don't know if these things can be restored easily or its okay the way it is. but would be great for your cabin, and I'm not asking you huge price so you can decorate your cabin without breaking the bank. This is an earlier Mount. From 1981. He is still beautiful to view from the front and mounted on a nice wood plaque. There wasn't much effort put into the back of this mount, maybe that's common, I don't know. There's no eye in the back, and the finish is a little rough. Vintage Sail Sword Fish OneSided Mount Replica 42" Marine Wall Plaque Fiberglass
You are bidding on a large vintage sword fish sailfish one sided mount which belonged to an elderly gentleman. This is a fiberglass replica mold measuring 42" in length. The vibrant colors shimmer and are coated with urethane clear coat for a very striking mount. This beautiful. Nautical sculpture looks wonderful in any setting and will provide many discussions. The backside has an attached hanger for easy display and installation. This replica can be hung indoors, outdoors or dockside. MONSTER Walleye Skin Mount Vintage Taxidermy Fish 30+ ClubTrophy Fishing Lure NR
Here is one huge walleye mount. The tag says it was 31 and 1/2 inches. I laid a tape in the V of the tail and measured 30 inches to the bottom lip. So this was well over that live. This was very well done and still looks great after 25 years. The tag did not say where this came from. I am pretty sure it was from Lake Erie. There are a lot of walleye fishermen that never caught one over 30 inches in a lifetime. Here is an extra large being sold without reserve. Email any questions and thanks for looking.

This is a nice looking vintage largemouth bass taxidermy mount. It measures about 20" in length. And the real skin was used in the mount. There is a small crack on the top of the head area(pictured) which appears to have been repaired at some point and is barely noticeable. There is also a mark on the side of the gill area(pictured) I'm not sure if that was on the live fish or not, it's minor but still worth mentioning. This is a vintage taxidermy flying fish. Recently purchased at an estate sale. I am unsure of it's age. After doing a bit of research on Google, I believe it is a Fauna Grecae Dactylopterus Vulgaris. It is in good used and vintage condition with a few chipped points and, what appears to be, 2 repaired wings. It measures 12 1/2" long and 16" across. There is a hook on the back for hanging. T hey are tightly packed and interlocking via small cusps. These t riangular. Pointed and blade like chompers are used for rapid puncture and shearing. CONDITION: This taxidermy was in GOOD Pre-Owned Used condition until bugs got to it. And left tiny holes on the body/head. Also. When I was done taking picures. I t fell out of my hands. Up for auction is this unique. Vintage, metallic Blue Marlin Fish mounted. The plaque on front reads. CAUGHT OFF KEY ISLAMORADO FLORIDA JAN. 20- 1940" on the back the plaque reads. WEIGHT 52 POUNDS LENGTH 6'8" It measures approximately 11" x 4" It is mounted to a veneered piece of wood and the veneer is split on the front and back as seen in photos. It has holes in it where it was attached to the wall. The wood is also curved as seen in photos The color of the fish is aged. The fish is metallic but not magnetic. This thing is very cool. Vintage Taxidermy Real Skin Striped Bass Fish Mount Huge 37 lbs.... 40" long
You are bidding on a Vintage stuffed Striped bass. The Striper is huge. It measures right at 40" in length and 17" from the top of the fin to the bottom of the dorsal fin.The fish weighed 37 lbs when caught. I'm guessing the piece is 20 years old. Its a nice Large piece that would look great over that fireplace in your cabin or in that man cave. The mount is older and does have a few minor issues. The fins have seen better days but still look good. The body is in overall good condition showing minor cosmetic issues. Nothing major or anything that detracts from hat awesome vintage look. This fish in itself is rare simply because it weighed 37 lbs. I know stripers get huge but I have never caught one this big. To have a few this size stuffed it would cost you at least $300. This auction is for one pre-owned in good condition Vintage Dorado or Mahi-mahi mount. This item measures 38 x 17 inches. It is fiberglass for the majority of the mount. The fins look to be real fins attached and painted they are not perfect. But not in bad condition, they might need a little touch up. The tail looks to have been real when this mount was done. Texidermy Fish Sawtooth Shark Bill Mount "Awsome" Large Antique Vintage
This is a Large Sawtooth sharks bill. The bill about 30 to 40 years old, Please look at all the pictures they can tell you more then I can. What I do know is that it has all of it's teeth but the one on the end that looks to be lost while the fish was alive. The measurements are almost 32" long and 5 1/2" wide at the widest point tooth to tooth. The larger of the teeth are 3/4" to almost 1" as the picture shows. The teeth start out 1 3/4" apart at the base and gradually get closer. There are 47 teeth in total. This is a very unique and awesome piece. Please see all pictures as the item is as pictured. It is in great condition to be so old. It does have a couple damaged teeth that look like they were done while it was alive. It is a vintage/ antique taxidermy piece.
