All featuring different renderings of Paul Bunyan. The prints were used in magazine advertisements by the Mead Sales Company during the 1950s. The Mead Company also mailed out the prints as gifts to various individuals on a mailing list. The art images themselves measure 6.75 inch x 8.5 inch and many are within larger paper frames. All of the prints include caption information ... moreprinted at the bottom, as well as series numbers on the back. The prints in this collection range from 1 to 75 in the numbered series, and were created by seven different artists: Edward C. Smith, Joseph Bolden, Henry C. Pitz, S. W. It has been placed on a board and covered with plastic to preserve it however it has not affected the paper bag at all but did not wan tot pull it out to take pictures of the backside as it is in a great displayable condition as it. It is really a very nice rare piece. It is 13 5/8" x 5" Please check out my other auctions. Although it has been years of cleaning we are still liquidating my Grandparents things along with ours. Two Vintage Paul Bunyan Lucky 66 Spinners With Bucktails Two Different Manufacturers/Manufacturing Eras Details: The 66's were first manufactured after World War II in the 1940's and offered in eight colors As with most lures with a painted lead component. The paint doesn't adhere that well to the lead composite sections when used The green head has most of its paint except for the wide base of the triangular head Note the difference in typefaces on the spinner blade Also, the stamping is on two different sides of the blades The green head spinner is the older of the two-this is a guess based on the typeface; these were later distributed by Arbogast Check photos for additional information about the condition of each item Any questions or clarifications.
