Whether you want to fish for Smallmouth Bass, Pike or Perch within site of our Lodge docks, or venture farther into the lake to a favorite walleye or muskie hot spot, there are plenty of great fishing holes to check out. For a change of scenery, you can navigate miles of the Ord River, with direct access to several smaller lakes, or travel a wide channel directly into neighboring Cedar Lake. Perrault Lake and its tributaries will produce consistently good fishing for a great variety of species throughout the Ontario fishing season.
We have a very healthy population of species in all age classes, and the possibility of catching a trophy fish while at the lodge is very real. Our FISHING PHOTO GALLERY shows some of our guests’ catches, both trophy fish and regular catches from Perrault Lake. We continue to encourage our guests to practice catch and release techniques with these larger reproductive fish, ensuring this fabulous fishery remains for generations to come. Our Housekeeping cottages are modern, yet rustic, adding to the charm of the beautiful setting for the lodge. Some of our cottages are ideal for couples, and some ideal for larger groups; all have decks and lovely lake views. We offer Family Fishing Packages and Fisherman’s Packages, which make your vacation planning simple and affordable.
We have plenty of activities for the entire family to enjoy here at Rainbow Point Lodge, and many on and off site amenities. Our recreation room is a super place to pass the time on a rainy day or for evening fun; enjoy a game of pool or shuffleboard and more. Outdoors, enjoy a game of horseshoes, bag toss, or rings. Challenge someone to a game of beach volleyball, or take a hike to Perrault Falls. There is also a sand beach, with dock slide and play area for the kids.

The fishing is excellent throughout the season ( so stop asking us "how's the fishing?" ).
The best time for trophy fishing in our area of Georgian Bay is the spring and fall, as this is the most productive time of the year for Walleye and Pike.
The re stocking program in Britt and Byng Inlet, as well as the trend to conserve fish stocks by catch and release methods, has really made a difference in the quality of our fishing.
We carry live bait, both minnows and worms.
