Nestled on the banks of WestArm’s wooded lake edge are 12 white cottages casting their reflections on a private enclave in a mirror-smooth bay. Situated on a gently sloping shoreline you’ll find yourself in park-like surroundings and any feelings of stress will be replaced by feelings of peace and tranquillity. Well-tended lawns, cobblestone, attractive perennial gardens and loads of shady trees complete the overall impression of the lodge.
For a few days, a week, two weeks or more it’s the ideal escape from today’s hectic world. A hideaway or the start of an adventurous trip? - Take your pick. For families as well as for romance-seeking couples.

Explore Mashkinonje Provincial Park on a hike! Experience a peaceful bike-ride through the forests and fields in the area, Drive and putt at three nearby Golf courses. Let your children have their own fun in the horse camp. Spoil yourself with the cuisine of our new restaurant.

Location: Western end of Lake Nipissing, hunting the Sudbury and North Bay Districts, which are two of Ontario’s prime Black Bear hunting areas. Our hunting area is more than 540 Square ... moreKilometers (more than 220 Square Miles!).
Season:
Mid of August until end of October 2014. Spring Bear Hunt to be introduced back, soon.
Length of hunts:
7 days hunt, usually arrival Saturday afternoon, departure the following Saturday morning. Sunday hunting is permitted.
Hunts:
Hunting over baited locations which are reached with your own vehicle. These locations are from one to forty miles from the Lodge via forest access roads.
Guiding:
We work together with a very experienced guide, a skilled black bear hunter himself. He has been born and raised in the area and is familiar with every inch of our Bear Management Area!
ATV’s:
Due to the road conditions at certain areas, ATV’s would ease their accessibility. Please advise, if you would like to rent one of ours or if you intend to bring your own.
Fishing:
As prime hunting times for Black Bear are early morning and late aftrernoon through early evening one of our 16' Lowe boats with 15hp yamaha motor is included in the package. One boat per cottage!

You may see: a Moose with her calf(s), a mother bear and her cubs, nesting Bald Eagle's, a soaring Osprey, a hunting Hawk.

We provide our guests with a dock and a sixteen foot Mirror Craft aluminium boat equipped with the latest Yamaha 15 HP engine. The boats have padded swivel seats, anchors, oars and ... morea Canadian Coast Guard approved safety package. Fuel is on hand dockside. If you bring your own boat, you’ll find our launching ramp and docking facilities very user-friendly. For those taking a day trip to our small portage lakes, we supply canoes, light boats and motors.
