It is a large mouth Bass measuring 22” long. Mounted on an 11 ½” x 25” wood panel. There is a brass name plate that says the Bass was caught by Richard Nolan on September 12. 1965 and the Bass weighed in at 8 pounds. Nothing to changing out an outdated brass nameplate for an updated one which would sure be more impressive. I mean Ed Schultz might not do it. But who is going to tell him? The fish is in pretty good shape other than it is dead. There is some minor wear and the upper portion of the tail appears to have been bent creating a light line. But the tail is all firm. One of the bottom fins is a little rolled up so that may have been bumped ... morealso. But hey! What would you look after being stuffed. Up for auction is this amazing large mouth bass taxidermy mount in excellent shape. Fish measures 22 1/2" long from the tip of the tail to the tip of lower mouth. Circumference of body. Just behind the gills, measures 16 1/2" Circumference of mouth is approximately 11" The fish is missing an eye. This area was filled in by the taxidermist, and is not noticeable(this side faces the wall. Fish is mounted on a wood plaque, with brass taxidermist ID. Huge Large Mouth Bass Fish Driftwood Skin Mount Taxidermy Lake George NY
For your consideration is this Fantastic Large Mouth Bass Taxidermy Mount. He was caught in Lake George. NY. The fisherman who caught it is moving across country, and his wife said NO to taking his trophy fish with them. He had all of them professionally mounted within the last 5 years, so it's fairly new. This big fish measures 18" and his body is curved. So he probably measured 19-20" before mounting. He has eyes on both sides of the head. He's on a really nice 19" driftwood mount with pieces that extrude out from the main log. There is a metal hanger in place on the back of the wood. I did notice his pectoral fin is bent. And a slight bend in one corner of his tail. This can probably be straightened with something, but I don't know what to use. This Bass was caught and mounted in 1980 by a local fisherman friend at Lake Hickory. North Carolina. The bass is 21" long and 11" wide(including fins) The mount is chestnut wood and is 22" long by 5.5" wide. Mount sets 8.5" off the wall. My friend passed recently and his wife is parting with some of his"treasured" collection. This mount is in good vintage condition, the fins are rough on the edges but it is overall very nice. Small cracks around bottom fins(see photos) but they aren't broken. There are some beautiful colors here as you can see in the photos. It says on the back of the wooden mount that it was 7lbs and that it was caught in 1991. Don't know where, but I live in Indiana! Conditon and detail are exceptional, straighten this big guy out and he will push 21" listed him a bit smaller for the way he is mounted and moving, very solid and sturdy on a nice piece of wood with a solid wall hanger on back, this beauty is the real deal and would display very well at home or at the cabin. caught in Okeechobee lake in florida in 1989

Wonderful Vintage Large Mouth Bass Mount. In used vintage condition. Looks to be very old. Needs some work and TLC but is very cool. Has some rips where the stuffing is coming out. Has wear and tear from age. Mounted on a piece of wood. Would look terrific in a cabin or hunting lodge. Nice large size. Very fat and feisty. I bet this guy really put up a fight before being caught and hauled in. Fish alone measures about 24 inches long by about 10 inches wide by about 7 inches deep. Could be antique but not sure of age.
