Alabama 22" Largemouth Bass Real Skin Mount Taxidermy Plaque 8 Lb Huge fish!
This bass was caught in Alabama and weighs about 8 pounds and about 22" from mouth to tail. It came in 2nd in a tournament back a few years ago. It has sat in the basement since then and has been moved a few times. So some of the fins have been damaged. See the photos for details! I will ship it very carefully so no damage occurs. Taxidermy Mount Steelhead Trout 34" (Real Skin)
Vintage taxidermy mounted real skin Steelhead Trout approx. 34" long with 18" girth displayed on a two piece swivel plaque so fish can be shown at a different angle if you want and has a little play in it so it can swivel. The wood plaque base is 21" long and 8" wide. Top oval part with the base is 12 3/4" high total and 10" wide. Fish in overall great condition with great color and nice clean mouth. Fish needs a little repair in the tail area as you can see, it has a split in it not a chunk taken out, otherwise the other fins look good to me. Also behind the gill area I don't know if that's a crack or it suppose to be like that and some paint chipped on back of fish. Photo's of front and back of fish to get overall look at it. This brown trout was caught by me in Oswego New York over10 years ago. I remember getting him back the following year and calling him Frakenstien because the skin on his back was pocked and not like it was when I caught him. none the less this is the most impressive Brown I ever caught on my years of trips. He has been on my wall for a long time. he is a skin mount an is a bit loose where he is attached to the wooden plank.but still ok to hang. He weighed in at 19 lbs and is 28 inches long and almost 10 inches from dorsal fin to the bottom of his belly. we affectionally called these browns"Footballs" when we landed them. What a memory!

Largemouth Bass mount professional taxidermy 19 inches skin real very nice
Real skin Largemouth Bass mount. 19 inches. He caught this in Michigan around 2002 on a tip-up. Very nice condition as seen in photos. This was done by a professional taxidermist. White paint is slightly cracking at bottom of gills(its just the paint)clearly shown in last photo. Easy fix.I didn't even notice it until I took the photos. We heat our home with a wood burning stove most of the year so some items being sold may have a slight sort of campfire smell. We have only had one buyer bring it to our attention all these years. But thought it was worth mentioning. We have a dog but she had no occasion to use this item. Please pay for items as soon as auctions end. This Bass was caught and mounted in 1980 by a local fisherman friend at Lake Hickory. North Carolina. The bass is 21" long and 11" wide(including fins) The mount is chestnut wood and is 22" long by 5.5" wide. Mount sets 8.5" off the wall. My friend passed recently and his wife is parting with some of his"treasured" collection. This mount is in good vintage condition, the fins are rough on the edges but it is overall very nice. Small cracks around bottom fins(see photos) but they aren't broken. There are some beautiful colors here as you can see in the photos. Small hook on the back for hanging vertically(head pointing upward) or add ... moreanother hook to hang anyway you like. Please examine the photos carefully. Up for auction is a real skin Northern Pike fish. Full mount. I am the original owner of this mount. It was taken from Red Lake in Minnesota. The fish was caught by a fisherman and entered into a fishing contest. The owner left the fish to rot and I couldn't bare to let this beautiful fish waste away. I was given the fish and had it mounted. I remember it being over 17 pounds. It measures about 39+ inches end to end. Pictures tell the story. I'm moving and trying to downsize. Rainbow Trout HUGE 26 1/2 Inch Real Skin 1 Sided Mount Antique 1940's Eye Appeal
Antique 1930's-40's real skin rainbow trout mount one sided. Overall for it's age excellent condition I noted no missing or broken fins. I did note a crack on a back bottom pectoral and slight cracking in the anus. The back side is scuffed up could be easily repainted even by a novice. I believe a trip to your local taxidermist could be very low cost to get this piece cleaned and back to full glory. Nothing like the nostalgia of these real skin antique mounts and this piece is loaded with eye appeal in my opinion.
