FALL BLACK BEAR HUNT - 7 Day Hunt / 8 Day Accommodation:
We have owned and operated Martin’s Camp since 1987
and are located just southwest of North Bay, Ontario…approximately 3 ½ hrs.
Drive from Toronto.
We run a top quality Bear Hunt and limit the number
of hunters each fall to ensure a high hunter success rate plus maintaining a
good population of Black Bear in the area.
Each year We bait well in advance of the Fall Hunt maintaining over 30 Baits in our Bear Management Area (BMA)which is over 300 square kilometres. We run a Top Quality Bear Hunt and limit the number of hunters each fall.
We also retain baiting
schedules and are happy to share this information with interested bear hunters.
Other Information:
Fall Bear generally are heavier preparing
themselves for winter hibernation. In
the Fall of 2001, A 345 Pound Black Bear was shot and in 2006 a first time
hunter shot a 430 pound Bear. Last year all Bear taken were from 250 to 385 LBS. We have many repeat clients who pass many bears up
waiting for trophy animals.
Hunters are required to provide their own
transportation to and from the baits so bring ATVs or 4x4 Truck. By law you must have your ATV insured to ride on
crown land and area roads plus a helmet is required when riding your ATV.
