With only a few tiny nicks along the edges. Reel works well, with a smooth, full range drag. It is spooled with some 30 lb. backing, and set up for left hand retrieve. The drag direction can be switched for right hand retrieve by flipping over the clutch plate that sits atop the large gear on the spindle(pull it straight up, to free it from the spring clip holding it on the spindle, flip the clutch over, and carefully align the 3 pins with the 3 holes in the gear, before pushing it back over the clip) The reel comes with a Cortland brand zippered pouch in good condition. The case has rod slots and a 2-way zipper to allow its use both on and off the rod. There is a"10" written on the front. Presumably to indicate the line size the previous owner used with the reel. This appears to be made from brass.Ir reads Flueger The next line reads"Trade Mark" with an etching of an elephant between the two words.Next it says Oceanic/Free Spool/Surf Cast/ patents pending It is in very good condition except the one side that has a few cracks in it. They don't appear to interfere with its use at all. The reel is very sturdy This area of the reel is also reinforced with screws in it.so I don't see it as it being a problem.There are no flaws on the reel other than the mentioned.

The handle cranks smoothly and the drag, clicker and free spool work perfectly. There is some light pitting to the chrome trim and spool as seen in the pictures. There is a small crack on the handle-side sideplate as seen in the last picture. It does not affect the functionality of the reel. The manual is in excellent condition and the box is in fair condition. The top of the box is missing the black cardboard piece that goes on top. I believe the design of the box requires that the top of the packaging be torn off to open the box when new. I will always combine shipping for multiple purchases. this auction is for two penn 320 gti reels. I have only one box. there are 2 wrenches and 2 rod clamps plus manuels for them. I bought them new about 20 years ago and used them for two weeks in the summer on lake michigan but haven't been over there in the last 5 years. I only used 17 lb. test line on them. But seems to me they both operate properly Both could use a good cleaning Both have bakelite handles The one with the green handle is the Silver Beach No. 99- it is the larger and heavier Just under 3 inches across( not including the handle) 3 1/8 inches diameter Has 30-99 on the place where it attaches to the pole The one with the cream colored handle is about the same across. But smaller in diameter 2/ 3/4 inches Has 30-155 Both sold as-is- Not my expertise.
