I should have polished them before the pics, trust me they look unused. Where the candle would go is threaded so you could always add the candelabra branches. It's stated that it's featured in the Schiffler Book of Collector Scales Page 42. That one was made in Chicopee Falls- this one has written on the front"National Scale- Beaver Falls, PA. It's a 2lb scale- the others I've seen have been in very bad condition- this one is fully functional and minimal tarnishing exists on the long barrel. I don't know if the tray is original but it's definitely old. The original painted logo"The National" has been covered by a sticker certifying it from the Bureau of Weights and Measures, Contra Costa County.
