Welcome to Camp Missanabie, now called Northern Walleye Lodge We are located on Dog Lake, which is west of Missinabie Provincial Park and north of Chapleau, Hawk Junction and Wawa in beautiful Northern Ontario. Dog Lake offers world-class fishing for Walleye, Northern Pike,Smallmouth Bass, Lake Trout, Perch, and Whitefish with streams and portage lakes that are stuffed with Brook Trout. We also have outstanding big game hunting for Moose and Black Bear. Moose hunts take place in WMU 32. We have two Bear Management Units (BMAs) that add up to over 333 square miles. Missanabie ATV Trails: We have many old logging roads and ATV trails in the area that also second as groomed snowmobile trails in the winter. Our road is only 1 km from the Chapleau Crown Game Preserve where there are miles and miles of trails and old logging roads. If you feel like doing 200 miles through the bush in a day then go for it! There are many different types of terrains including sand, swamp, streams, deep push, burn areas and well used trails. There are also many small lakes that never get fished by other people and can only be accessed with an ATV. If you have a small boat or canoe and have a trailer for it you can fish many many lakes that other people will never see. If you are into Brook Trout fishing, there are tons on little streams all around with Brook Trout. You may even find a hole with some big ones. A popular day is taking a trip to Dubreuilville for lunch. There and back is approximately 80 km (50 miles on way) or just tour around and look for Moose, bear, lynx, and wolf.

You will be served a large breakfast with coffee, muffins, orange juice, bacon and eggs, toast and hash browns. We have a French toast breakfast, and we serve Canadian bacon thorough the week. All our breakfasts are served with ham, bacon, or sausage. Breakfast is served at 10:00 - 10:30, which gives out guests lots of prime Walleye and trout fishing before breakfast.
Dinner offers a delicious main entree, vegetables, salad(s), potato or rice, and desserts!
Our American Plan Package also includes live bait (limited), 3 gal. of gas per day, cubed ice, and all housekeeping accommodations.
