Boots are fairly well worn with creases at the ankles. The insoles are curling a bit. But could easily be replaced depending on foot size. The tongue is padded with grey sponge that is a bit weathered. This often happens to SP teris, but most skaters get a separate shearling piece to further protect from lace bite. The boots will also need new laces, I would guess 91" Soles are shellacked black and show no signs of water damage or warping. Blades are nearly new and have very few nicks but will need one good sharpening before use. These figure skates are great for recreational skaters looking to try out competitive quality equipment(without having to break in new skates! and perhaps get more serious about their skating. Also good for kids that are growing quickly and need something affordable until the growth spurt has slowed(insoles ... morecan make these skates up to one size smaller and be removed when feet have grown) The blades alone are great for anyone looking to try a classic blade that is great for pretty much any type of skater. As a professional skater, I skate on the parabolic version of these blades, otherwise I'd keep them. I think the boots are most likely this model. But may be an older version of the same. I agree that these boots are a bit more light weight and suitable for single and maybe double jumps. These boots new are around $500. Blades are showing as $210 new. Three different sizes of meat/ food grinders with 9 blades for your consideration. All are cast steel construction with original hardware clamps and wooden handles. The first is a Universal#3. This is quite large. The inner handle is embossed MADE IN U.S.A. It also has an impressed BD after USA. Handle turns freely. Minor surface rust that should clean nicely. Next is a#2 UNIVERSAL. MADE IN U.S.A on inner handle and L.F& C. NEW BRITAIN. CONN. U.S.A. on handle exterior. All original parts again with a slight amount of easily cleaned surface rust again. Third is a#1 UNIVERSAL. Vintage Case XX 3 Blade Pocket Knife 2 1/2" Closed. Carbon steel blades
Here is an old"XX" era CASE 3 blade pocket knife. This knife measures just a chip over 2 1/2" closed. I got this knife from an"old timer" Please refer to the photos as part of the description. The blades have a"patina" and I believe they are carbon steel the only marks I can find are on the large blade and are; CASE XX" One of the smaller blades has been sharpened(see photo) the other 2 have not. The large blade is unusual in shape( I thought it was pretty"stabby" don't remember seeing a blade shaped quite like this one. The large blade has a TINY bit of lateral wobble(barely worth mentioning) the other 2 have no wobble. The 2 smaller blades have strong snap the larger blade has good snap. I recently bought a box of miscellaneous parts at a Cabinet Makers' estate sale. In the box were several sets of planer/jointer blades. The sets were indivually wrapped but there was no indication as to what machine they went to. So here is the information on the fourth set: Set of three steel blades marked"6 1/8" Planer. Craftsman ans No.9-2293" The blades are 6 1/8" long x 1/2" wide x 1/8" thick. These look new but I'm not sure so I listed them as'used' There was adhesive tape wrapped around them and what you see in the pics is the adhesive residue. They are SCARY SHARP! Hopefully you have the Craftsman machine these will fit!
