Kistler Magnesium 6'9" casting rod. All purpose special. Can be used for just about anything. I put the green Tourstar golf style grip handle on it. Very light and comfortable, especially when fishing in wet and cold conditions(reason for putting it on the rod) plus it added an additional inch to the handle. It now measures 9.25 inches from back of reel seat to end cap(much better) Rod blank, guides/inserts, and reel seat in mint perfect condition. Very clean with no blemishes, very nice rod!

The guides and the ferrules are all in excellent condition. The cloth rod bag and aluminum tube are in very good condition. The tube has done its job of protecting the rod well. But shows some scratches and a single small dent. None of these scratches and scrapes will affect that the way this rod fishes. This rod was mislabeled at the factory. Selling a used Daiwa Fishing Rod. I believe this is a spinning rod, but I am not 100% sure. There is no reel attached currently. It is extremely light weight as you can see from the cork handle. This is a 2 piece rod which put together measures 75 inches long and breaks down to about 40 inches each piece. The area on the Rod where the information about the rod normally is has been pretty much worn away(see pic 3) but you can read that the lure weight says 7-14 grams. I was told recently(2012) by another person who bought a lot of material from the estate that she was already familiar in 2007 with the seller and that the seller had sold other celebrity estates previously. The seller was overwhelmed with the number of questions and demands from EBAY buyers. With getting items shipped in a timely manner, with the amount of material from the estate etc. They also refused to speak to anyone on the phone and wanted everything done via email. In personal communications to me they expressed the enormity of the task and the difficulties they were having. They also wanted everything to go through PAYPAL for"paper trail" purposes as the bank was expecting documentation of all sales. VINTAGE 16.5' BAMBOO CANE POLE, 4 PIECE FISHING ROD. BAMBOO ROD.
This is a handmade pole with all brass fittings. It is a bit over 16.5 ft long made from on piece of bamboo. The reel mount is a simple as it gets. The bamboo was trimmed to make a flat spot. One end of the reel fits under a fixed ring and a brass ring is slide back over the other tang on the reel. The pins between the sections are hand carved and not metal like newer poles. All the section connections are friction fits that are are perfect. It comes with an old mattress ticking bag all the parts fit into. I have no idea who made it but it is well made.

Custom made Sage GSH 3113lb centerpin / steelhead float fishing rod
Up for sale is my custom made Sage GSH 3113lb rod. Custom tied for a centerpin reel. I purchased this rod from an angler in British Columbia, and when I received it I found it is a little too much rod for the waters I fish in Ontario. This is considered to be the best float rod there is for steelhead and salmon fishing. It has a beautiful action– just enough power to handle the biggest fish you can throw at it, yet enough flex and sensitivity to fish light leaders for those finicky steelhead. It took me over 3 months to find someone willing to sell this rod, and as any steelheader will know they are very hard to come by. These blanks are no longer made, and the newer green CP blanks put out by Sage are not the same. This is the original brown Graphite III blank– the newer ones are built based on the 3113MB– which is heavier. Makes an excellent ... moresalmon rod, and can be used for steelhead as well. This rod is in mint condition, not a mark on it– the pictures speak for themselves. This is a Raven. 3 piece, 15 foot IM9 Float Rod with the fixed reel seat. It is rated for 4 to 10 pound test with a lure range of 1/8 to 3/8 ounces. I used it for one Steelhead season and it is in excellent condition. There is some discoloring of the cork above the reel seat where I attached my electric motor controller. I'm sure that can be easily sanded away. Raven makes a variety of high quality float rods for use with either a center pin reel, a spinning reel or a bait caster depending on your preference. I am not sure what type of fishing these are for- they do not have or use a reel- the line hangs off the top and when collapsed the case has a snapped front that the line is wrapped and held-one is 30 feet and one is 20 feet and the other is 10- plus there is a holder that is also telescopic- it extends about 4 feet- they collapse to about 2 feet and fit neatly in their cases.
