LOT of 6 MITCHELL 300 Spinning Reels & Spools. Some for PARTS or REPAIR
NO RESERVE! Here's a nice lot of Garcia Mitchell 300 reels + a couple extra spools. I fished with Mitchells for years. And have just saved too many. A couple of these work, and most need some attention or are just good for parts. Here's a quick list of what I see right and wrong with each reel- starting with first pic top left going clockwise. 1. Seems to work OK. Bail flips fine. And anti-reverse works. Aluminum spool seems to rub on body when moving up& down. Does have the teflon washer. 2. Working OK. Missing teflon washer. 3. Bail bent and doesn't snap back. The shaft the spool goes on might be bent- spool looks crooked. No teflon washer. 4. Working order except the anti-reverse not working and missing teflon washer. NEXT PIC. 5. Spool not moving up and down. Bail does flip and anti-reverse OK. Drag brake spring(under ... moredrag knob) and teflon drag washer gone. There's a chunk out of bottom lip of aluminum spool(can't see when it's on reel) 6. This is a 300A. Missing handle and spool. Bail won't flip back. NEXT: there's 3 spools in cases. No washers on these(where do those dang things go? One spool looks a little deformed where the string goes. I very likely missed an issue or two. These are SOLD AS-IS for parts or repair.
