Hello! I have a Lowrance Gen 1 HDS 5 fishfinder with chartplotter for sale. The unit actually works great except for the LCD display. Which has developed a black area where some pixels have gone out in the upper left quadrant of the screen. I showed the area in the pictures. I lived with it for a while until I came across a used one for a sweet deal. I thought I would put it on ebay and see if anyone wanted it for parts or an extra graph for the old flat bottom. They had a box of electronics that we were traded from some other electronics and this was in it. Upon initial inspection. The unit appears cosmetically fair with no cracks or anything debilitating but some wear from use. We noticed 4 of the case screws that fasten the front bezel to the rear chassis are missing, however, when we opened the unit up, we saw no water damage and the bronze collars that the screws go into were not broken. When we powered the unit on, we noticed at an obscure viewing angle, say 30 degrees or more, the center of the screen image appears washed out, however, when viewed head on or close to head on, this is not visible. Here is a used Lowrance LCX-25c Color Fishfinder/ GPS head unit in good condition. Comes with head unit. Bracket and knobs only. NO transducer, wiring or GPS antenna. Unit is in good working condition, a few light scratches on the screen and a few on the housing. When the unit is turned off, you can some ripples under the screen glass. When turned on, you can see them when viewed at an angle, but are not visible when you're looking straight at the screen. As you can see in the pictures, it is still a pretty nice bright display. Here is a used Lowrance HDS 5 Generation 1 Fishfinder GPS Charplotter in good condition. This auction is for the head unit only. No accessories. Unit works perfectly, except you have to press a little harder than normal to operate the arrow keys. All the other keys are fine, just the top arrow button group, you have to be sort of deliberate when you push them. I ran this unit on my dash for a year without any problems. Nice sensitive internal GPS antenna. 480x480 color screen with no scratches. There is an area on the upper left corner of the front bezel that has some gouges in it(see photo) Thanks for looking!
