Lowrance HDS 8 Gen 2 & HDS 7 Gen 1 Combo Units (Heads only)
Up for Auction: HDS 8 Gen 2 Insight USA Map Fishfinder/GPS(head only) and a HDS 7 Gen 1 Insight USA Map Fishfinder/GPS which it comes with mounting bracket. Knobs and screen protector. see photos) Both of these units were on my boat and worked properly with NO issues. Show very little wear and look like new. I used the HDS 8 as a main unit at the helm and the HDS 7 was mounted on the boat at another location. HDS system is the top of the line from Lowrance and I wouldn't have anything else. I'm only selling to upgrade to a HDS 10 since I have a different boat now. NO transducers. Wiring harness with this sale, for I'm keeping that part of the system. I know you can find all the necessary parts on ebay to build your own system for your boat. I use the side or structure scan and the images return is outstanding on the monitor. Lowrance HDS-8 Gen 1 Fishfinder + GPS Chartplotter With USA Lake Insight Mapping
This auction is for a used HDS-8 Gen 1 that I bought new in March 2011. I've never had any trouble with it. It comes with everything you need except a transducer. HDS unit and cover. Power cable, mounting bracket with gimbal knobs, mounting template, installation and operation manual. GPS, sidescan and sonar all work. In the chart picture you can see it's locked on to a satellite by the speed over ground indicator. It doesn't have any scratches on the screen. It has one very minor scratch on the very top of the case in the dark gray area. This is a very nice well cared for unit that has been stored in the house in the winter.
