It powers up just fine and the line set works as it should but I would guess that it is in need of a calibration, the nice thing about that is that it has the 3 books so you could probably do it yourself. It does not have the roll chart with it but those are a pain to use anyway(has the tube date book with much more tubes in it than the roll chart did) This is a very high end Heathkit tube tester for tube radios and would make an excellent addition to any collection, it would also make a very nice gift idea as well. VINTAGE HEATHKIT FISH FINDER FLASHER 1974 BENTON HARBOR MICHIGAN
Here is a nice vintage Heathkit fish finder flasher from 1974. The unit is all solid state with metal case and measures 10 x 7 x 6 inches. I took the unit apart and cleaned the inside. It was pretty clean as it was. I tried it out with two 6 volt batteries and it woked great. The unit is very clean and comes with a 12 foot cord which fits in the front compartment of the flaser as shown in one of the pictures. A great light weight little unit for ice fishing.

A tested and working vintage HeathKit Fish Spotter-depth finder. As you can see in the pictures it not only works great but looks nice as well. The case is in very nice condition for its age. Clean and is not dented. Transducer and cord has no damage and the part number of the transducer is still on it. It is possibly unused but I'm not sure. It displays well and can also be used as was intended. Uses two 6 volt lantern batteries(not included) Comes with manual and transducer setup instructions. Shipping will be $17.90. Great working Heathkit 2900 fish finder/flasher. SEE PICTURES AND READ! The wires were cut and extended from the battery compartment and we have been running it off either a 12 volt battery or rechargable jump starter system. You can attach the wires again and and use two 6v batteries if you wanted but this was easier for me. Comes with mount if you want to attach the transducer to a board. We used it strictly for ice fishing but recently upgraded so decided to sell a couple older flashers I have. Listed a Lowrance as well. Ask any questions. Hoped someone could use this who doesn't want to spend 300 on a brand new system. Thank you.
