Some of From's best work without a doubt. The craftsmanship and beautifully ornate design is really well done and very pleasing. It is crafted in tight detail with koi fish swimming in opposite directions and stars. It is highlighted with 5(five) large amber cabachons measuring 21mm diameter each, the bracelet is 1 1/16" wide and 7" long(not including the tongue clasp) and weighs a heavy 61.2 grams. The condition is very good with only surface scratches commensurate with gentle wear, no damage. It features a tongue in groove clasp which closes with a light"click" and has an additional security feature of a figure eight clasp. Primitive Hand Carved Ice Fishing Decoy Really nice piece by Robert L Mihaescu. Carver. I'm not sure what the fish is, maybe a pike? Anyway, it is beautifully carved with nice detail on the face, the scales, and the tail. He is curved around making for a great display piece. There are metal fins on the sides and glass eyes. Eye hook on top for tying. On the bottom are four inserted weights and the signature of the artist. This large size decoy measures 12" long. About 8" wide. If he was straightened out the decoy would measure 21" long, but of course that cannot be done, I am told that the curved decoys are more valuable. Beautifully hand carved Signed Ice Fishing Decoy. It appears that it was at one point a brooch or pin of some sort and later someone decide to make it into a bolo tie. There is some sort of mark on the head in front of the eye but I unable to tell what it represents. The letters“AHM” 925” and“ Mexico” are also stamped on the head. Bronze Dimensions with Marble Base:Height 12" x Width 7" Marble Dimensions:Diameter 7" Height without base: 11" Weight:11 LBS Inventory:27X23013772 The bronze Nude Boy Holding two fishes sits on top of a rock. Lost in a moment and full of thought. His eyes fall downward, as he slowly squeezes fishes in his hand. He was molded using the ancient method of lost-wax casting and finished with a brown patina stain for preservation. The sculpture is mounted upon a black marble base with the artist Fisher signature. The Art of Lost Wax Lost wax casting has been around for thousands of years. Yet few people understand how the process actually works. Although mechanization has facilitated ... morethe lost wax process of bronze casting. The procedure is basically the same as that used by the Chinese when they first developed the process in the 2nd millennium BC. The Rubber Mold First the artist creates an original sculpture out of any number of media. Including stone, wax, clay, wood and pottery. This image is coated with a silicone rubber molding material that makes two rubber mold halves(each rubber mold has a front and a back piece) A fiberglass outer shell is added to the back of each mold so it retains its shape and rigidity during subsequent uses. Beautiful Japanese Porcelain Celadon Bowl! This bowl has a beautiful green glaze and really wonderful feel to it. Would make a great addition to any collection. I do not know much about these kinds of things but looking at the markings and doing some research. Also considering the Koi Fish, I think it is Japanese. I am not sure of the age but given where it came from I believe it to be antique or very old vintage. The bowl is in great shape with small black dot of some kind and one small chip along the rim. Someone put pads on the bottom to protect it also. I am sure they could be easily removed if needed. Z.S. Co. Also known as Zeh, Scherzer& Co. was founded in 1880. My understanding of the mark on the back of the plate, from people who know far more of these things than I do, is that the green version of the mark, dates the plate between 1880 and 1918. This plate bears the green version of the mark. Additionally. According to Porcelain Marks of the World by Emanuel Poche. Item 505 of that book shows the exact mark that appears on this plate and says, REHAU. Zeh, Scherzer& Co. after 1880/ printed. Generally. When these pieces were hand painted. The artist would sign. This signed piece is signed on the front. Lower right side(my photos are a bit hard to see, but see the photos where the seashell is, the signature is below that) and I can make out"W. Mauss- the last three letters could possibly be"ner" or aek" but ... moreI cannot absolutely tell you those last three letters- need better glasses! And on the back of the piece, the initials"W.M. are hand painted under the Bavaria marking. Cabbage roses plates and little pink flower plates are abundant. This is very hard to find. I have seen only a few listings for fish dinner plates and only once have I ever seen a platter similar to this one- in a very upscale antique shop- also hand painted so not exactly this one. As I would assume each artist does his/her own thing. The rim is done in a gold border and shows only slight wear on one end, otherwise the gold is quite intact. The"under the sea" motif can be seen in the photos. The size is very unusual as well. The platter measures approximately 22 5/8" long by approximately 9 3/4" from top to bottom and stands approximately 1 7/8" from the table top to the rim. There are no chips. No cracks and it appears except for the tiny wearing of the gold on one end of the rim previously mentioned, to have perhaps never been used except for display. Absolutely fabulous piece of porcelain.

Vtg 8ft Artist Signed Dated Metal Garden Sculpture Statue Fish Salmon Abstract
This is a spectacular abstract rendition of a fish leaping out of the river surrounded by plumes of water. It is artist signed(looks like CWB and dated 1998) It measures 7' 10" tall and 36" wide. It is all metal and mounted on a solid steel disk with total weight around 120lbs so its heavy but manageable to move. It is very sturdy on the base. The colors are nice with some surface rusting around the joints and base but no significant corrosion or pitting. This has always been an outdoor piece and holds up great in the weather although it has not been repainted or touched up. Perfect gift for the fisherman or wildlife enthusiast.
