Up for auction is a beautiful set that I used in my spare bathroom in our cabin. It comes with a set of 3. I assume, made of wood hanging on a small rope. Also it comes with a beautiful tissue box cover, a framed picture of a claw foot bathtub with fish on it, and a fishing decor shower curtain. Last but not least, probably the most expensive item in the whole set; it is a hand sewn quilted wall hanger size approx. 51x61 inches. Be the bider on this complete bathroom decor set, a unique set indeed, it served us well and I just wanted to change the decor in our cabin bathroom.

Vtg Old Mounted Rainbow Trout Plaque Chalkware Log Cabin Lodge Decor Game Fish
This is a chalkware/plaster rainbow trout mounted on a piece of wood that measures 10" wide x 5 ½" tall. The trout is 7 ½" long x 5 ¼" tall. The fish has no chips or cracks but is covered in dust and needs cleaning. The wood base is coming apart at the layers and needs gluing. There is a decal on the wood that reads: SOUVENIR OF MELLEN. Vintage Old Mounted Trout Plaque Cast Log Cabin Lodge Decor Game Fish Man Cave
Hello and thank you for your interest in my auction. This listing is for the vintage trout cast fish and plaque seen in the photos. There are no signatures. Markings or manufacturer labels on the piece. The fish seems to be cast from heavy clay or porcelain or"chalkware" Very nice is what appears to be genuine two-colored glass eyes embedded on both sides of the head. These glass eyes add a remarkable sense of reality to the piece. The plywood base is beveled with a brass rivet for the holder. The paint has wonderful patina with very minor paint loss a bit on the tail jaw. Etc. The oval plaque is 10 1/2 inches and the fish is about 9 inches long. The piece has great 3D relief quality with the head extending about 2 inches from the base. I don't know if this is a brown. Brook or rainbow trout. It has spots and color variation ... morefrom brown to green to reddish. This is super nice old piece that would fit well in a den. Man cave, cabin, garage or other Please send any questions. Vintage log cabin kitsch in this needlepoint Angler's Prayer. It is framed in a stained oak frame that has some terrific worm holes! Including the frame. Measurements are 12 1/4" x 13 1/8" The needlepoint has a yellowing from age. This hung in my grandparent's lake cabin for 37 years and grandpa always caught the biggest bass!
