This auction is for a Dealer Box of Mycro Double Eye Fishing Floats. As the box states. These are good for fly rod fishing, spinning equipment, or cane pole fishing. These are the Double Eyed variety, which means they are twice the value as those single eyed ones. Half of this float is red, the other half is white. This comes complete with 24 floats. The graphics on this are tough. It has a guy fishing catching a fish, that looks sort of like a bass. The man looks like he is in his underwear. I guess it could be one of those adult diapers. Top of cork has some evidence of wear(hook holes) 6" Red/white stripe. Appears to be hand painted cork with wood stem. Metal line attachment on base. 3.5" cork with red/navy blue/yellow patter. Stem is not very tight inside cork; moves easily through the cork. Has evidence of use. 3" Red/Orange/Green. I believe is wood(has some weight for its size) Metal pigtail line attachments on each end. Float has evidence of use(appears to be a worm burn approx. 1/4" in the red section) Measurements are from tip to tip of the stems. Up for auction is an original store display card consisting of 12 vintage floats/ bobbers manufactured by the former Ideal Fishing Float Company of Richmond. Virginia. The six pear shaped bobbers are each made of a cork body and wood stick and measure about 4.25 inches long(including the stick) The six cigar shaped floats are each made of synthetic material with a plastic peg stopper and measure about 2 inches long. Each of the 12 floats/ bobbers are mounted on a plastic winder with braided casting line and a hook and sinker. All have never been fished with. The display card measuires 14 inches tall and 11.75 inches wide and is made of sturdy cardboard with graphics. The display card is in nice condition with no rips or tears and even has an original price tag still on it. The card with floats/ bobbers are new old stock that hung on the walls ... moreof an old bait shop that went out of business several decades ago on Main Street in Holyoke, Massachusetts. Vtg ADVERTISING DISPLAY BOX for FRABILL SNAP-ON FISHING FLOATS BOBBERS Older advertising display box for FRABILL SNAP-ON FISHING FLOATS(bobbers) I would guess the box with six of the original bobbers to be in the late 1950's to mid 60's era. The box was designed to be opened up and propped open as a combination display and container for the floats. No one has ever popped open the top as the display model attraction.
