Lot of 38 Beautiful Estate Solid Sterling Silver w Stones Signed Rings 219.3gr
Up for bid is a lot of 38 beautiful estate sterling silver rings with stones. All of the rings are hallmarked and most have the artists initials. For the most part. The rings are in ready to wear condition but a few may need a light cleaning(t he pictures do not due the rings justice) There is a great variety of stones in the rings. Some are marked"CZ" but I do not have the knowledge to indicate if the other stones are genuine. Glass, rhinestone or other. What I can tell you is that for the most part the stones are bright/clear. Some may have a light hazing but this is the exception. A few of the rings have a gold plate/brush over the sterling and I believe I counted 2 or 3 that have some wear on the plating around the band. The only other flaw I saw in the lot of rings is the pretty orange and lime green ring shown in photo 5 has ... morean internal crack in the orange stone. I almost pulled it out of the lot, but decided to keep it in since I would still wear the ring if I were keeping the lot because it is not overly noticeable. There is a Navajo ring in the lot and there is no reason to believe the stone is anything but authentic(photo 9) The only ring in the lot that does not have a sterling finger band is the one pictured in the last photo. This ring has a very nice translucent carved dragon stone with an ornate sterling band around the stone and has a light weigh marble finger band. The sizes of the rings vary but seem to range between size 7-10(I did not size all of them so some may fall out of that range) All but one of the rings will come with a ring box. If the winning bidder is not interested in the ring boxes then please let me know before paying because removing them will substantially reduce shipping costs for you. 2 antique solid silver boxes hallmarked 1922 and 1927 for snuff, pills or rings
2 antique solid silver boxes. The larger one is hallmarked for London 1927 and is 8 cms in diameter. It weighs 94 grams and was probably intended for use as a table snuff box or dressing table pot for trinkets. It has the initials RD on the lid and there are dings to the silver. The smaller one was made by Sampson Morden and was hallmarked in Birmingham in 1922. It has a faux tortoiseshell lid and is 5 cms in diameter. It weighs 36 grams and was probably used for rings or tablets. BEAUTIFUL SOLID BRASS Wall Sconce Set RINGS for Towels or ?
This is a very BEAUTIFUL pair of SOLID BRASS Sconces! It has ELEGANT turnings and GREAT DETAIL! These are candleholders and are not electrified. They are UNIQUE in that they have a large ring and could even be used in the bath to add ELEGANCE with or without a hand towel! I think these may be lacquered brass. So you don't have to polish them! Each measure 6" long, and the wall plaque is 5" in diameter. The ring is just under 3 3/4" in diameter. Sits 4 3/4" from the wall. Each candleholder has an area around it so if you wanted to add a glass globe you could although they never had the globes as far as I know. Candle opening size is just under 1 1/8" in diameter or if you want to you can use a larger one as the opening OVER the smaller holder is just under 2" Great condition with no dings and just a few tiny ... morescratches. Some candle residue in the sides inside where it cannot be seen from the side. Tag on the back of one notes"6 1990" so these may have been made in 1990 or that may be there identification number.
