A pair of superb quality. Solid silver napkin rings which I estimate date from the 1920's or 1930's. This is only to be expected from any object bearing the name'Asprey' Both are stamped with the name but there is no hallmark. However, I have had them tested by a local jeweller who confirms are are solid 925 silver. In very good condition subject to normal surface wear. No dents or splits. Approx. dimensions- 4cms. across and 3.6cms. high. Weight. One weighs 45.6grms. and the other 45.9grms. I am happy to supply further images but please do not leave it until the last minute.

By my calculations, there are 16 rows of 16 in each row, plus 7 on the side and a row with 7 in it, so there should be about 270 ferrites in this lot. These are used for different applications, but can be used as RFI and EMI filters. They measure 1 1/8 inches outer diameter, 3/4 inch inner diameter, and are a little over 1/2 inch wide. Solid Brass Umbrella Stand. Cane Holder 21 inches high with 2 Art Deco Lions with Rings like Door Knockers Decorations This is a solid brass umbrella stand. Not brass plated. It is not magnetic. What that means is it can be polished with Brasso or another brass cleaner. It has a heavy patina as I found it. Personally I like the antique look of the patina and would not polish it, but that is up to the buyer. There are no dents or bad gouges in the stand. Only the different shades of the patina and the water marks. You might find some light surface scratches, but nothing outstanding. The stand is 21 inches high, 9 1/2 inches in diameter at the top, and 9 5/8 inches in diameter at the base. The rings have nice hand chase and engraved foliate pattern with a matted background, each napkin ring has a cartouche with three having engraved monograms, the napkin rings are unmarked but have been silver tested and are of high grade solid silver. Condition- The napkin rings are in excellent condition. The engraving is crisp and clear, there are no dents, holes and repairs. However, one of the rings has a small 4mm split which is hard to see. The process of having a ring resized is best left to a professional who is familiar with jewelry and the composition of metals that are commonly used to create the settings and bodies for various types of rings. The process for having a ring resized is actually very straightforward. A jeweler will first cut the shank or bottom of the ring. Creating a break in the circle of the ring. Next, the body of the ring is heated. Heating the body of the ring requires exact precision, as to much heat will result in permanent damage to the metal, ... morewhile the application of too little heat will make working with the ring or rings extremely difficult. Once the ring is heated to the right temperature, the jeweler will be able to open the ring to the desired size. Following the opening of the existing ring. The next step in having a ring resized is to cut and shape what is known as the sizing stock. It is important that the stock exactly match the dimensions of the original band, especially the thickness and height of the band. Description Welcome to my Auction. For a lovely cased pair of antique Victorian Sterling Solid Silver napkin/serviette rings. Both napkin rings are fully hallmarked- Birmingham 1895. The silversmith- George Unite. The solid silver napkin rings are decorated with a central bright cut engraved band of leaves with a central oval cartouche. With personal initials in a fancy script- Possibly- AWB" MEB" Husband& wife initials) Simply lovely. The napkin rings together weigh- 31 grams. In lovely condition with no dings or dents. Presented in their original domed case with a dark purple silk& velvet lining. The exterior of the case showing some age related wear but generally in good condition. Many Thanks for looking.
