My goal is to rescue worthwhile. Vintage and unique items and place them in good homes at a reasonable cost to be enjoyed. This a set of 12 mid-century solid brass napkin rings. They each measure 1 ¼ inches wide and 1 5/8 inches in diameter. They feature a band on each end and textured brass on the middle band. They are not pitted or stained and in excellent condition. These are solid(not thin and tinny) and collectively weigh a little over 1 pound. Please see the pictures for the design details and the quality of these napkin rings.

Vintage Shipbuilding Caulking Mallet Hammer, SOLID ROSEWOOD, Brass rings. NICE!
Here we have a Vintage Shipbuilding Caulking Mallet/ Hammer with Brass Rings. The entire mallet is made of nice dark solid Rosewood with a nice light patch on one side of the mallet head that really sets off the appearance! The mallet measures 14-1/4" tall with an 8" L head. The head has a diameter of 2-1/4" The handle is just wonderfully turned with a sculpted neck leading to the head. Two sets of beading near the end, and full checkering for 6-1/2" of the handle. This is a very solid mallet! Apologies: one of the brass rings has crack in it. Owner's Initial"E" on end of handle. Note: Shipping cost quote is for PA to CA. Pair of Antique German 835 Solid Silver Organic Art Nouveau Shaped Serviette or Napkin Rings c. 1900 Each Antique German Serviette or Napkin Ring measures approximately 2 1/4 inches or 57 mm across the length of its body from end to end by just over 1 3/8 inches or 36 mm across the width of its body from side to side and it is just over 1 1/2 inches or 40 mm across the depth of its body from the top to the bottom rim. The serviette or napkin rings are both made from 835 standard solid silver in oval shapes that have scrolling embossed or raised relief stepped rib decorated upper and lower rims on either side of rounded sides that have four bulbous organic shaped panels that are typically Art Nouveau in style. The serviette or napkin rings have Not been engraved with a previous owners initials or family monogram and each one has been impressed ... morewith a German half moon and crown 835 standard solid silver all as photographed below, I estimate that this pair of serviette or napkin rings were made circa 1890- 1910. The condition is used and Excellent for their age. The serviette or napkin rings have No Large Dents. No Splits, No Cracks, No Holes and No Repairs that I can find, the napkin rings stand straight, the decoration and definition is very crisp, the German silver marks are still legible although as the napkin rings are used antiques one of them has a small shallow dent in the side of its body and they have some extremely minor surface marks and wear from use, they have the patina of age that is to be expected and a gentle clean would not go amiss. Personally I think that this pair of antique German serviette or napkin rings can still be used today and that they would make a superb addition to any cabinet collection, I also think that they have a delightful look about them considering that they are around 120 or so years old. The rings are in very good condition but will need a quick polish as they are tarnished. A Pair of unmarked Chinese Solid Silver Napkin Rings, a fine set of 5 Antique Latvian Solid Silver Tea Spoons, a Sterling Silver and Cut Glass Figural Swan Open Salt Cellar, a large Austro Hungarian Solid Silver handled Art Nouveau Fish Slice or Cake Server plus a Silver Plate Viking Ship form Salt Cellar. There are some very fine examples in the collection which I am sure would sell well on their own, we simply did not have time. The German Napkin Holder and the Sterling Swan form Salt Cellar are very fine pieces and in excellent condition. The only real flaws are some denting to the Chinese Napkin Rings and pitting to the Blade on the Fish Slice, otherwise very nice condition throughout. The weighable Solid Silver comes in at 245 grams. The Napkin Holder measures 5-1/4" long by 3" tall and the Cake Server measures 12-1/4" long to give a rough idea of sizes.
