Working condition with several markings and scratches(refer to pictures) Also, the screw to the battery door is missing, but it still closes and latches. Keep in mind that when it's set to be activated by pushing the red button. It can take a moment before pushing it will activate the next song. This is the 1999 version of Big Mouth Billy Bass. The singing fish. It was made in Texas by Gammy Industries Corporation. Billy is battery operated and batteries will be included. The fish operates by a push button on the bottom front of the plaque. There is also button on the back that can be pushed on and off. When this is turned on. The fish becomes motion sensitive and will start singing when anyone gets close to him. The fish body is soft and pliable. His head. Mouth, and tail all move in time with his songs. Big Mouth sings loudly and clearly. He makes you just want to sing along. There's a speaker on the back of the plaque. VINTAGE 1999 GEMMY INDUSTRIES BIG MOUTH BILLY BASS SINGING ANIMATED FISH
Big Mouth Billy Bass is an animatronic singing prop. Representing a largemouth bass, invented in 1998 by Joe Pellettieri of Bass Pro Shops[1] and popular in the early 2000s. The fish is made of latex rubber stretched over a plastic mechanical frame; at first glance it appears to be a mounted game fish. Designed by Gemmy Industries, it turns its head towards a person, facing them, and then wiggles its tail on its trophy plaque and sings kitschy cover songs, such as"Don't Worry, Be Happy" and"Take Me To The River" by Al Green. The singing mechanism was originally activated by a motion sensor and was originally intended to startle a passerby. Eventually a button was added to activate it.
