1985 Aria Pro 2 RSB Medium II Bass Guitar - Medium 32" Scale - Rare !!

This bass is a 32" MEDIUM scale and is one of the rarest Aria models which was only produced in 1985. The pickups are not original but are new chrome humbuckers I installed which fit in the routings and covered the screw holes. This bass would be perfect for the young bassist. Guitarist or someone with smaller hands. This bass started as a body and a matching neck that I got separately from Japan. The bridge is from another RSB and the tuners came from a'90 Aria Magna series neck that I sold last month. The brand-new chrome pickups came from a Canadian eBayer and the electronics( pots and switch) from a late 80's Kawai and a Russian paper-in-oil tone capacitor. All assembled ... moreby me and wired up by my favorite custom shop! The bass is in very good shape for its age with a few scratches and dings on the body with finish checking across the lower half. Front and back. The neck is super clean, nice and straight with lots of fret life and a working truss rod. There is a ding on the fretboard between the 5th& 6th frets. The black tuners are near mint with the plastic coating still on them. The original Aria chrome bridge is in excellent condition and free of corrosion! Lots of shine and bling left on this baby! The tone can best be described somewhere between a Gibson EB and a mellow Jazz bass. Mellowed bright and deep tones without hum or noise! This is a 1999 SWR SM-500 Professional Bass Amplifier Head. I got this as part of a package deal about a year ago and really don't use it very much. I have tooooo much gear and I need to lighten my load and this one gets used the least. It is in excellent cosmetic condition. Has a few minor scratches here and there mostly from being racked. It functions 100% as it is supposed to. The tube was replaced when I got it and it sounds amazing. It has tons of EQ variations and tonal controls and I used to drive an 8x10 Ampeg cab with it. In bridged mono mode it drives 500 watts at 4ohms. It can be run in stereo mode as well. You will be pleased. It weighs only 20 pounds but is NOT a class'D' amp. Good old tranformer power. It has a fan, not very loud at all, that comes on as it should when the unit heats up. You will not be disappointed ... morein this amp.
