This bass has seen some wear and tear over the years but is still in good playable condition. Definitely a players bass! The body and metallic white(now nicely yellowed from age) finish is in mostly good shape except for the huge gouges off the paint on the top horn and back hump(see photos) There is a small gouge in the headstock on the front. The gold hardware and tuners are in decent shape for their age and the pots and knobs are original. The neck has had some issues(the truss rod is max'ed out)but ... morethey have been worked out quite well with a shim under the brass nut. A professional neck set and refret job. I have managed to get the action low enough to make it nicely playable with no fret buzz. The best thing about this bass is the TONE! Pedal" doesn't really do it justice, this thing is basically a little computer that you put your audio through. You probably already know about Hot Hand tech if you're reading this, and yeah, you can use it for some cool live dubstep. This pedal is so much more though. I've gotten everything from Muse rock/electronica type stuff(think Hysteria) with distortion in front to super-funky classic sounds(Herbie Hancock) Even Victor Wooten uses one of these! It's got a 7-band EQ. 6 saveable presets(3 x 2 banks) and by messing around with the pedal's LFO(programmable, selectable wavetype, tap tempo) I've gotten cool electronic ... moreechoes and a phaser. You can even do some decent tonebending with this pedal if you get clever with the frequency/sweep/speed knobs. This is a somewhat rare 1986 Aria Pro II Elite 4 string bass guitar. Serial# 5093146. Made in Japan. A rare find with exceptional craftsmanship, great sustain and amazing tone. The neck is dead straight, all electronics are fully functional, original pickup, original brass back plate and brass truss rod cover, a rock solid bass. It comes with a beat up but functional hard case. There is a slight blemish in the clear coat on the top right of the head stock and another blemish on the inside top horn of the body where the strap lock screw pushed through. One ding by the pickup switch and a few other very minor blemishs. Mostly on the back. Other than that this bass is in amazing condition, plays great and looks beautiful. Absolutely no structural issues at all. This is one of the most sought after basses in the 80's Aria line. The neck-thru ... moredesign produces amazing sustain and tone. The gold and brass hardware accentuates the beautifully intricate grain of the solid wood body. With a five piece Maple/Walnut neck-through construction, Rosewood fingerboard with"eye" dot fret markers. This bass has a precision and jazz pickup. 3-way switching, high mass bridge, one volume and two tone controls. It comes with a Fender style headstock and has a maple neck and fretboard. The fretboard has a gloss finish that is in great condition as are the frets. The color of the bass is Teal. The bass plays great and has that 80’s vintage sound. This bass has some light surface playing scratches as you would expect from a 30-plus year old bass. There are also some small dents and dings. But nothing major. Overall, it is in very good shape. Sorry, but no gig bag or case comes with this ... morebass. I have cleaned the electronics. Hand polished the body and headstock, cleaned the fret board, dressed the frets, installed new strings, adjusted the string height and set the intonation. This bass is ready to play.
