Warwick Corvette Pro Line 6 String Bass
I am selling my Warwick Corvette Pro Line 6 String bass. This is a great sounding bass with plenty of that Warwick"growl" that Warwick is famous for. The only reason I am selling it is because I can't get used to the feel of a 6 string neck. All electronics work properly. I would say the condition of the bass is 9/10. There are only two slight little dings on the front of the bass that I tried to capture in one the pictures. Also. The MEC logo on the neck pickup is faded off and the bridge pickup logo is slightly faded. The JAN II nut is also missing one of the tabs on the side, but that doesn't affect the ability to adjust the strings. This auction is for 5 Bass Pro Shops fly fishing rods. 4 are Dogwood Canyons and one is a Bliger. These rods are from a lot of returned/floor model rods that came from Bass Pro Shops. Rod#1: Dogwood Canyon Model DC 906 9' 6 Line G11. 2 piece rod. This rod has been used. There is some wear on the handle. The blank is not in perfect condition, the top piece has some residue on it(see photos) A lot of it seems to be from tape that was on the rod and scrubs off. The rod works fine. Rod#2: Dogwood Canyon Model DC 906 9' 6 Line G11. 2 piece rod. The handle on this rod is still wrapped in plastic. The rod has not been fished with. These are nice, solid, quality made instruments. I am not a bass player, I grew up on Gibson and Fender guitars, but I do try to feel the necks, and can see why guys back when liked these so much, and why they are so desired today. If I was a bass player, this is the kind of neck I would be looking for. Sweet and smooth! This has the classic headstock shape, and was made before the litigation era, has the nice bound neck, and the top centered fret markers. Sharp! Even to me, I can tell this one plays smooth! It is more like a guitar neck than any other bass I have ever tried! Why posess just another routine model bass? This rod is missing the 3rd guide from the bottom and the insert on the tip. The cork handle shows wear and turns a little rough. There are a few pretty minor scratches on the blank. Still has the $100 price sticker. Rod#2: Model: EXT70MHS 7'0" 1/4-5/8 oz. 6-17 lb. Medium Heavy Power. Fast Action. This rod is missing the insert on the 5th guide from the tip. White River Fly Shop Classic fly rod. 8' 6" 5wt 4 piece moderate fast fly rod. I got this rod as a backup and my wife used it a few times in the Ozarks. It is perfect and the cork handle has not been soiled and looks perfect. These rods fish identically to a TFO pro series(slightly faster action than a pro series) but in my opinion have better workmanship. Better hardware, and comes with a nice rod tube. Neck is straight, frets show a little wear, but have plenty of life left. There are numerous scratches, dings and dents as can be seen clearly in the pictures. You may see some red fuzz in the pictures, that is from the case. This bass guitar has some scratches from useage and a few dings and dents. There are a few dings that are deep, please see the pictures. The fine tuner knobs have been replaced, there was one missing, and the replacements are a bit smaller, but work as they should. The 3 original fine tuner knobs are included in the auction. The pots and jack were soldered poorly, so I replace the pots and correctly soldered pots, switch and jack. I soldered ... morethese the same as the original pots that were installed, I'm not sure if that is the original scheme or not. Both pickups work. Auction includes a case that is in fair condition, but protects the bass as it should. The output jack looks to have been replaced.
