6 Bass Pro Shops Mega Cast baitcasting fishing rods - a couple need minor repair
This lot contains 6 Bass Pro Shops Mega Cast baitcasting fishing rods which were returns or damaged in shipping to Bass Pro Shops. Most of these rods need minor repair ard are sold as is. Please look at the pictures and ask questions if necessary. I will do my best to describe the condition of the rods. Rod#1: Model: MCX661MHT 10-20 lb. line 3/8-1 oz. lure. Rod is in like new condition. Handle still wrapped in plastic. All guides are intact. Rod#2: Model: MCX661MHT 10-20 lb. line 3/8-1 oz. lure. Rod has been lightly used if at all. All guides are intact. This is the one that is missing the butt cap. It also appears that the cork handle broke right around the middle. Someone glued it back together and filled it with cork filler. It's actually fixed well. Rod#3: Model: MCX601MT 8-17 lb. line 1/4-5/8 lure. Handle is still wrapped in plastic. ... moreRod is in excellent condition and appears unused. All guides are intact. Rod#4: Model: MCX661MT 10-20 lb. line 3/8-1 lure. Rod is like new. Still wrapped in plastic. The 3rd guide from the tip is not in line with the rest of the guides and should probably be retied. Rod#5: Model: MCX601MT 8-17 lb. line 1/4-5/8 oz. lure. The blank is in excellent condition. But the fore grip is in rough shape and needs some love(see photos) All guides are intact. Rod#6: Model: MCX661MHT 10-20 lb. line 3/8-1 lure. This rod is missing the insert on the bottom guide. The handle is like new. But the blank has a lot of scratches on it. Please note that these rods are sold AS IS. I have done the best that I can to describe them. There are a couple of small scuffs/scratches from handling on the ones that I describe a like new. I ship these rods in 4" PVC pipe in order to minimize the risk of damage. These pipes cost 8 bucks apiece. Plus shipping, so the $19 I am charging for shipping is about 10 bucks short of my cost. This is a beautiful original. Made in Japan(by Matsumoku) Aria Pro 2 SB-Special 2, purchased new in 1986 and I`ve owned it ever since. It`s full size with twin pick-ups and individual tone controls with a lovely jet black finish to body and original wood neck and fret board. Machine heads and finishing are in chrome. There is some scratching to rear as you`d expect from modest gigging over the years but generally it is in wonderful condition. I only wish to sell it because I`m getting too old to play in bands and it should be played by someone who loves it and uses it accordingly. It comes with the original hard case I bought it with in 1986. I`ve chosen Royal Mail Special Delivery as it provides compensation for valuable items such as this but happy for a buyer to collect in person free of charge.
