Assorted Old/Vintage Fly Fishing Lures Plus Carrying Case
Up for auction are a random assortment of small flies that I have had for a long time stored away.They were actually my fathers and he passed them down to me. We never really use them so I figure its time to give them to someone who will. I dont know much about flies as far as brands go. But they are usable. I included a small pocket size carrying case for small lures in general and is very convinient for taking out your most needed lures without having to take the motherload with you. This is the real mother lode of fly tying materials. This is an as-found lot of nice vintage materials. I haven't taken anything out. There is some old thread that didn't fit in the pictures that is also included. More than a dozen on spools. Different colors. Judging by the rods. St. Croix Imperial Fly Fishing Rod 9' 5 wt and Orvis Clearwater Classic Reel
I bought this rod and then got a job as an Orvis endorsed guide and had to fish only Orvis rods. So this St. Croix was used as a backup maybe two or three times. The rod is in near-mint condtion. The case is a little road weary as it's traveled a lot. The reel has seen some use, but is a sold reel with a 5 wt double taper line that still has a lot of life in it. Everything you need to go fishing but the flies! I need a saltwater rod, so my loss is your gain!

The“Mansfield Fly Book” has a leather case with flys inside. Unopened, and many stuck together, looks like 11 envelopes plus the plastic yellow pouch. The leather case is a bit misshapen but it still closes OK, may need some leather treatment rubbed on it. Hooks: on card: Nostealum in sizes 5. 7, 14. RARE STERLING SILVER CIGAR BOX SALMON FLY FISHING HUGE 600g 8 inch 1950
A huge sterling silver cigar box. It is hallmarked with for Birmingham 1950 with the makers marks being those of A Wilcox. It has been superbly design being engine turned and engraved with a scene of a leaping salmon. It is in super condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs– just a minute knock to the front right corner– see photo. Also the divider is missing so it gapes a little but they are very easy to replace or make from a small piece of hard wood. This will tighten it up and the lid will close tightly. The inside is clean and perfectly usable. It is far larger than most measuring over 8.5 inches(21.9cms) long by over 3.5 inches(9cms) by almost 1.75 inches(4.2cms) tall. It weighs 600 grams including the wood and the bases usually contain a steel plate. A beautifully very high quality piece. Last year's model Simms Vapor wading boot. Light weight for easy hikes to fishing destinations. Yet very supportive when wading. I'd still be wearing them myself but they are just a bit small for my size 12 street shoe feet when wearing them with waders. I bought a new pair of size 13's and my feet are thanking me! If you wear a size 11 street shoe or plan to wade wet with only socks and are a size 12 these would probably work just right for you. It's a very nice net made from nicely figured Curly or Tiger Maple with trout-friendly net bag. The idea was that the inside of the curve rests against your side while you unhook your trout. ANTIQUE/VINTAGE -SAKURA, ARIA or other?- BAMBOO FLY FISHING ROD Occupied Japan
This is an incredible antique Combo Bamboo Fly Rod as well as a Standard Fishing Pole in original wood box. Most resembles an Aria made rod& box. But there were several companies in Japan making these from what my research shows and many are nearly identical. In any case this one is very nice. Contains 5 pieces. A Cork& Metal handle with removable rubber end, 1 Middle Fly Rod Extension& 2 Fly Rod Ends, 1 Sturdy Single Extension piece for a regular fishing pole use. The fly rod is approx. 8 feet(see photo) The regular use extension makes for a approx. 5 feet 2 inch fishing rod. The box is approx 34-35 inches in length. Kind of a neat set up& in amazing shape. It is not like new. But not too far off. Original box has some wear and the slide out panel(which would hold tackle in top is not with the piece) and there is a crack ... morein top that has been glued. The rod pieces however, show very little wear of any kind. Please review photos for your consideration. They are considered part of the description and condition.

This is for a pair of wading insulated fly fishing pants by Athalon. These are preowned but no rips or hole. There is some discoloration on the feet but not sure if it's just dirt or not. I have not washed these) also the front pocket has a velcro closure that has come unglued. The velcro strip is still there so you could glue it back no problem. These are a size medium made of 90% neoprene and 10% nylon. It has adjustable straps but the pants not including the straps measure approx 4ft. The inseam is approx 27" and the feet measure approx 9" long. I know nothing about these just found at a yard sale and couldn't find anything about them online. Huge lot of over 150 fly fishing flies most look hand tied some maybe not some with hair and some with feathers and most if not all could still be used for fishing. I got the box full at an estate sale and selling it the way I found it. the two bigger ones are poppers I guess and there is one little spinner that has Pflueger wobbler on it. its a nice collection of different types of flies. and comes with the box.
