Here is a nice old German tapestry I purchased many years ago. This tapestry according to the former owner came over in the early 1900's with a German immigrant family. The scene is of a medieval hunting styled theme of deer/stag being hunted. Also of a man blowing a horn with dogs in hand, maidens, a castle, etc. You can tell it is old and well made. The back has a few water stains on the back. The photos should be able to tell all. 1960s vintage Canvas Rubber Waxed Fishing Hunting Creel Messenger Bag Vintage fishing/messenger bag. Cotton canvas with a rubberized interior. There's 2 turning closures on the main bag, 2 snap pockets in front, another on the side, also a zipper compartment in the front. There's a removable strap that has some light fading on it. Condition is excellent, there's evidence of use but its been well cared for. The only issue is one of the grommets from one of the turning snaps has come loose(see pics for details) It's an easy fix for its next owner. Buck Pathfinder 105 Hunting Knife with Original Flap Sheath
Well used Buck 105. Knife shows it's age well, blade has been sharpened many times, but has never been broken or lost it's tip, handle has carry wear but is in overall good shape. OEM flap holster shows lots of carry wear for being carried a lot. belt loop has been removed and sheath slotted for carry closer to the belt, snap was relocated to hold knife tighter, even a glob of shoe goop to keep knife point from protruding. Overall decent shape, looks used, not like somebody got a new knife for x-mas, but perfectly seviceable.

What I do know is it measures about 20 1/2" x 17" with a raised angled edge that is about 1 1/2" tall. A magnificent and rare gilded brass cartel clock. Very finely detailed and in excellent condition. It is in the style of Black Forest carved wood examples, but is beautifully modelled in gilded brass. The original gilding remains which is in lovely bright and clean condition. It features a hunting dog to one side of the dial, a fox to the other, a wild boar below, and above the dial is a hunting trophy deer head with antlers. The large dial is also gilded brass and is mounted with 12 individual enamel cartouche letters. The bezel has a hobnail edge and bevelled glass. This is a large and heavy clock that will require a substantial screw or spike to support it. The French movement is ... moreby Japy Freres and has the clockmakers mark on the movement backplate. It is the more unusual Japy Freres design with pin-pallet escapement. Rack strike and large detachable barrels within a split, shaped backplate. Please read below after reading the advert Here for sale is a quite stunning glass and silver plated drinking jug with great fitting lid and the glass has fab etchings of a large pig/boar on the glass lid and the jug has a large pig again but also with fab ducks flying from the rushes at the riverside being chased out by the wild boar.this is a very old georgian copy of a hunting wild scene and this one i think is and dates to the 1970s hence its in fab condition and a great collectable for the wild boar/pig lover to which im told there are a lot.the glass mug is approx 17cm tall x 11.5 cm diam to the base and the lid has a great thumb lift which is perfectly balanced and the lid fitts snuggly.its also a very heavy item needing serious packaging hence the postage is kept to the minimum and its well worth it.please see my other fab items for ... moresale as i do combine postae to save you many £££££ss.thanks.
