This unit shows some signs of use including some minor scratches to the front but overall is in pretty good shape. This thing is built like a tank and designed for outdoor use. Unit works perfect in sound and auto mode but I never tested DMX mode as it uses proprietary cables which are smaller than the standard XLR cable. I believe you can control each pixel separately. These types of old American made light fixtures are becoming more and more difficult to find. Back when these were made they were made to last. This is a great pair of old light fixtures that can be used inside or out side. Each is made of a metal material. Probably cast aluminum and are black in color. Each measures 23” overall and have 8 beveled glass sides“octagon shape” with the original glass in each of the eight side. The lights were tested and both work. The wiring is cloth but still in great shape. All of the glass panels are in nice condition with one exception. One lantern has two glass panels with a small chip in the glass both chips are inside the lamp and are hardly visible. There is no damage to them otherwise only some wear from use. Japanese Outdoor Vintage Hanging Lantern--from Japan
This is a wonderful vintage lantern that I bought from an antique dealer when I lived in Japan. I don't know how old it is. But my guess is around 50 or 60 years. Works perfectly, just plug it in. It weighs about 8 lbs. The body is black metal, and it has had some oxidation, but I sanded it and treated it with Rustoleum, and although it still looks old, I believe that the metal has stabilized. The white part of the lantern is a heavy plastic. When it's lit, it emits a nice yellow-white glow. It measures approx 18.5" high and 16.5" wide. This lamp is a real find, I've never seen another one like it. Will look great hanging on a porch or a garden area.

It was made in the 1960s for a wealthy resident of Kansas City, Mo. and it was on display in her garden with two other identical lights. I will soon list these other two lights for sale as well. The light stands 21 inches tall and the main mushroom cap is around 8 inches wide. See the last picture for what it looks like without paint. This light is substantial, and was custom made by an artisan that both loved form and durability. There is no flimsiness when you pick it up. It is a solidly built piece of sculpture!
