Here's a neat piece of fishing Americana from the 1950's that would make a great addition to any sports room. Manufactured by the Cornwall Wood products company of Maine. This five rod holder captures the theme of those old-school fishing lodges perfectly. Overall width: 11-3/4" Overall height: 4-3/4" Depth(from back to front of rod shelf) 2" Weight: 3/4 pound. Given its age. This one has a few nicks and dings but nothing major. It did somehow end up with a hole in the fisherman's head which I tried to show this in the last picture. With a little effort, this could be easily fixed. There are no splits anywhere in the wood and the shelf to the base attachment is still nice and tight. Vintage cast aluminum fishing rod holder that folds to about 10-1/4" It has a sticker reading MULTI ROD HOLDER and an incomplete phone number to order by phone. It's in great condition. It locks solidly in place for angle and has holes for permanent mounting. It was obviously designed for light fresh water fishing and will hold even the smallest ultra-lite spinners as well as the pistol grip baitcaster rods(see photos) Shows tarnish from age but no scratches from use.
