It stands approximately 13 inches tall depending on angle setting. Company logo(interlocking"W" C" is stamped on upper ring. Holder would be bolted to the vessel via the 3.5" x 2.25" adjustable base. Wilcox and Crittenden was a Middletown. Conn foundry established in 1847. Chrome finish has pitting and there are only 2 bolts for mounting. Located in Irvine. CA. Pick up is free.

Here's a neat piece of fishing Americana from the 1950's that would make a great addition to any sports room. Manufactured by the Cornwall Wood products company of Maine. This five rod holder captures the theme of those old-school fishing lodges perfectly. Overall width: 11-3/4" Overall height: 4-3/4" Depth(from back to front of rod shelf) 2" Weight: 3/4 pound. Given its age. This one has a few nicks and dings but nothing major. It did somehow end up with a hole in the fisherman's head which I tried to show this in the last picture. With a little effort, this could be easily fixed. There are no splits anywhere in the wood and the shelf to the base attachment is still nice and tight. This is a Vintage Leather Deep Sea Fishing Individual Pole Holder Belt. Don't know if you can see it. But this belt had flames stamped into it, as well as an"O" and a scroll design around it, above the flames. This belt is riveted together. It was very well made, as most hand made things are. There is cracking around the rivet at the buckle end. I would say that this is more of a wall decoration at this point, but you could still use it.

Four Boat Fishing Rod Holders - Recess Mount - Vintage
This set was from a 1969 Thunderbird Tri-hull. The tubes are 2" wide and mounting depth is approximately 12 inches. These are heavy duty and have withstood time and the elements. I think these were originally chrome on top. But have aged to a nice patina(at least I think so) Tops can be refinished or left as-is. All have the stop pin at the bottom of the tube. These appear to have a 30 degree offset to mounting plane and will include the original screws from removal.

Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE This is a vintage George Lawrence Leather Fishing Rod Holder made in Portland. Oregon, and knife with sheath. I am not sure if the sheath was made for this fishing rod holder or not but I could see no way to remove it from the strap as the buckle is bigger than the loop on the sheath. Considering its age it is in great shape. There is some cracking in the belt so it could use some tlc and some needs-foot oil. I do not image that this is anything but a fantastic show piece. The knife blade has surface rust. But could probably be cleaned up and usable. The knife is well made but had no manufacturer mark. Check out my other items. I pulled a beautiful German made needle-nose pliers with sheath off of this belt as well as a small multi-tool. Thanks!

The holder is designed for mounting rods horizontally. The illustration shows examples of rods displayed over a fireplace mantel as well as inside a fishing boat. The holders are molded from a very hard. Heavy green plastic. The base against the wall is 8 1/2" long tapering to about 7 3/8" at the front where the rods are snapped into place. The molding includes the Pfleuger logo and"MADE IN U.S.A. The Pflueger information on the box has a zipcode but the box is pre-barcode. Along with the 1960s style graphics on the box. This probably indicates that the set is circa 1960s after the 1960-63 phase-in of the USPS zipcode system, and before the ... morewidespread use of barcodes during the early to mid 1970s. vintage 1945-46 Hurd Supercaster "CASE ONLY" for fishing rod vinyl holder
Nice original late 40's vintage Hurd Super Caster fishing rod vinyl case with working zipper. NO ROD, JUST A CASE, didn't find the case until I'd already sold the rod) The case has seen some light use. But stitching is good and zipper works good, the small leather thumb hold did come off but is included.

This auction is for a vintage Cabela's 56" rod tube. Hard sided. 3" in diameter. In very good condition with no cracks. Padded lid. Lid snaps tightly on tube. This is a heavy duty tube that is well made. Great for airline travel. I used it for a couple of fly rods on a trip to Alaska and it worked great. I will answer any questions that I can.
