Take this set with you everywhere you travel. It is ready to catch fish. All you need is bait. If you've been looking for a set like this. You found the right one. This is the one with the gorgeous gold reel that was Made in Seiko, Japan, as you can see in the photos, it is in fantastic condition. I put a dollar bill next to the set, so you can see how small and compact this set is and you can use it because there is even a tackle box inside that holds your hooks and lead weights. There is a new 6-lb line that I just installed and I put a small vintage case that holds several tiny hooks and sinkers, so you are good to go. The case is only 14 inches overall. The rod is composed of five pieces and very easy to install and disassemble. The rod themselves I think are graphite. You don't find these vintage sets that easy anymore and the ones often listed are not the Japan-made quality and are newer versions. Those were made in other Asian countries.
