1998 Warner Bros. Taz Fishing Pole Kids Shakespeare Rod & Reel w/Free Shipping!
You are bidding on a kids fishing pole. A white and purple Shakespeare Rod/Reel Combo(roughly 30" tall) which is used but in good condition. There is still line on the pole, but new fishing line is reccomended. Reel is a little stiff but still works. Some light markings from normal use and wear. It looks as if the bottom of the pole has been chipped off, as it exposes a hollow plastic opening at the bottom, but it doesn't effect the pole's ability to catch a fish. Adorable and fully functional Barbie"Shakespeare" fishing pole and tackle box. Both in excellent pre-owned condition. I don't know enough about the pole to accurately describe it, but it is extendable/retractable and the reel works great- it has a push button and a +/ turn(not sure what these do) When it is collapsed it measures about 17 inches from top to bottom, with the rod measuring about 8.5 inches. It extends another 8 inches beyond that for a total rod length of about 16.5 inches. The tackle box has an extra storage box and some extra bobbers. I have up for auction the following: A vintage and well-kept Shakespeare rod and reel that I am selling together. The Rod: Two sections of cork with the cork covering the one end. There is a metal screw that allows you to remove the reel. The name Shakespeare is stamped into this black metal as well. Six loops running the shaft. Shaft splits into two pieces. Primarily cream pole with red and black. On top of spool is: 6"D" DRAG. Has five line hoop guides. Labels are worn. The Reel: Has latch. Tested and working, that when shifted, tightens the grip or loosens the grip on line. Has some scuffs and paint-rubs. Line spool bobs up and down when reeling in. Diamond logo with name 2062 nl.
